I had a similar problem with my Sim went into the shower in City Life, and ended up in the lift room unable to get out. I got her to travel to the spice market and she managed to get there. Obviously babies cannot use a telehone but Sims can if stuck behind a wall.

I have done as your suggest, uninstalled Origin and reinstalled and although the OS upgrade message didn't come up, the shop tag is still missing.

I was unable to log in, the box asking for permission to make changes came up, clicked OK, then the Box saying I was in Windows mode came up, clicked OK, then the log in box flashed and disappeared, unable to log in.

What I would like is the job description, Entrepreneur, so when they buy a business, they are not unemployed. My Sims works hard getting his restaurant, bakery or shop up and running and then profitable, but is classed as unemployed.

my Sim is now 120 or there abouts, I have made him do a marathon run, swim endless lengths, woo hoo in the sauna, hot tub, closet and bedroom and still he is energised. I expect if I incarcerate him in a cellar he will tunnel his way out. His trophy wife at this rate will die first.

I also have this, and when the tea is brewed the icon doesn't cancel. I have to go to the map then back to the house for it to disappear. I also the the frypan for french toast, my teapot disappears but when replaced it has all the upgrades my sim has made. My sim child never gets to school, or back home for that matter…

Has the Grim Reaper retired or been sacked? Yesterday my groom died at his wedding, too much euphoria, and just collapsed. The guests gathered round, the bride was distraught but no sign of GR, the body disappeared and his urn took its place.

Thank goodness I came on this forum and read all the comments, I was at breaking point with the game, my Sims are out of control, Mother fliting with son and vice versa, yuck. I keep repairing the game, even repeat repairing without playing and always there are faults. Most of this seems to come from that last patch…

This will be the second time I have had to reinstall the game, it takes me 8 hours to do so, and I have to sit at the computer because it goes to sleep, and I have to keep nudging it, time for a read. Tried to install from disc but that doesn't work either. Irritating to say the least.
