  • There's somethin fishy here... I used a web proxy and I am able to access the site, but only through proxy.
  • I mainly use Google Chrome, but i've tried it in Internet Explorer and Firefox with the same results. My buddy that lives in the next city also is unable to access it. modthesims doesnt like Texans I guess lol
  • Confirmed a buddy of mine on a different ISP is also unable to load the website. We live in Texas.
  • I just noticed 2 of you 3 that say you have no problems are across the pond from me. Is modthesims.info hosted in that part of the world? If so, I wonder if it's just people in North America that can't get there.
  • I'm really curious now. I can't get in on any of my computers. I've just reset my router/modem in case that was an issue and I still can't get in. I've tried the link Yahtzami posted as well as links on google to their downloads page and other stuff on their site and I cant get through at all. Argh! Oh well I guess thanks…
  • I'm getting this every time. Oops! Google Chrome could not find modthesims.info Try reloading: modthesims. info Additional suggestions: Access a cached copy of modthesims. info Search on Google: Can't get there in firefox or IE either. Weird. Also in trying to reply here, THIS website just told me its down for maintenance.
  • Yea this could be really useful for some people who are lacking on the RAM side. I used ReadyBoost for a good while with a 4gb stick I have but I never really noticed a difference, though I already have 6gb ram.
  • Yea I dont know much about Legacy play either, I've read bits about here but last I saw was a post saying that the 'rules' are being worked up, but I haven't seen completed Legacy rules for TS3 myself. The way I'm playing is that I keep the same active household and just expand the house to accomodate, if there's an…

  • Yep, my guy married Erin Kennedy. I would go back in and just make a lot of acceptable townies and move them in houses but I'm afraid story progression would just delete them all and move in it's own people, or give them all babies. I like having story prog. on too.
  • Yea you're right, how to not question authority, how to pass a test, where they fit in in social hierarchy, fashion, sex, and drug use.
  • I agree with this. I had one male sim find a lady friend and get married, only to have her age shortly after...so i wound up with a young adult married to an elder. Not happy. Some of the female townies are pretty 🐸🐸🐸🐸 too so I find me having the guy hang out in the park just waiting for someone who isn't repulsive in some…
  • Because The Sims is a life simulator, and what you have described is exactly the same as school in real life. At least in the states.
  • I found mine fishing, I noticed him a couple times pointing to plants ready to harvest in my garden, I've found him asleep on various tables as well.
  • When you play the guitar, they actually make chords on the guitar. I like that with high enough guitar skill you can serenade someone. I love the maniacal laugh evil sims do.
  • I have had this problem with houses I got from the modthesims website. I had to delete the file and redownload it, then it worked. Houses from TS3 exchange have all installed no problem. Another thing I imagine is if the house is furnished and possibly contains premium content from the exchange, that you do not own.
  • From what I know, the 'hidden' traits are hidden so that (without a mod) even if one of your sims does have pyromaniac or sneaky, you wouldn't see it. By default, the hidden traits do not count against your 5 traits. If you use a mod to access the hidden traits, then the game does count them.
  • That is crazy man, I am curious if you have one of the mods to unlock the CAS slider ranges and maybe that baby got some random extreme ranges.
  • yep been raiding their downloads since yesterday, good stuff there.
  • I will email you when I get home and give it a go. Despite my avatar, I like to think I am pretty accurate with the CAS.
  • Yea their faces are great sometimes
  • I registered, I'll have to verify email when I get home from work.
  • Ha! Reverse troll indeed! I have never kicked the gnome because I didn't want him to do something bad to my sims, so im not sure there. I believe he only moves at night when all active sims sleep and I have never been able to witness the move in process. I believe because in that particular save, I have started cheating…
  • I have one. He likes to go into the garden and point at plants, one time i found him laying down napping on a table. I dont think they like company either, because I actually fished up 2 gnomes and had them both in the lawn, but the next day there was only 1.
  • That would be that mother's decision, but it also would not be grounds for a law suit or anything of that nature. If she would be upset by large breasts on a sim, the she'd surely be upset by woohooing sims. So she takes the game away and the kid goes to google image search. You have no valid arguments so why are you still…
  • That makes no sense. This slider has the potential to help the games success by allowing people to make even more true-to-life sims. It has the potential to also just not have any effect on success at all, but still make fans who want it happy. I can't think of any way it would be detrimental to the games' success though.
  • People want that? Serious?
  • I havent played a klepto yet so I'm not sure about that trait, but I am interested in the $31000 space rock!
