I took a visit to a foreclosed beach house that doubled as a tomb. It doesn't look too bad on the outside and it even has a nice view of the lighthouse. Finding the trigger to unlock the door wasn't that difficult. It was barely hidden among the dead grass. Upon entry through the boarded up door we're met with a fireplace,…
At 10 PM a bunch of sims decided to congregate in the town park to protest. What are they protesting? Computers. Don't ask why. I don't know who they're expecting to hear their grievances at this time of night, but I wouldn't be surprised if a bunch of noise complaints came in.
I like a bit of both. Legacy narratives can be an enjoyable read especially if it has an engaging storyline and fleshed out characters, but that depends entirely on the skill of the writer. It's like reading fanfiction where you never know what you're going to get. Sometimes you get top tier stories and sometimes you're…
I still have my sims disks and their respective cases. There's something different with having a physical copy of the game rather than digital. The only downside is that newer computers no longer have internal disk drives since everything is digital so good luck transferring your old games over.
At least your sims have an entire family history that you can work with. 99.9% ( which is 100% of the time let's be honest)of the time my sims have no one in their family tree beside themselves until they get married and have kids. Where did my sim come from? Who knows. Parents? Never heard of them. Aunts, uncles, cousins,…
I mainly play with half walls since full walls can get tricky to navigate and see what's going on. (I'm not the greatest with camera controls. It's either too fast and zooms past what I want to see or too slow. I still don't know how to adjust the speed or do that trick that let's you go upstairs in camera mode without…
Had to generate a fresh copy of The Sims 3 after some weirdness with my CC in the launcher. (I'm paranoid every time I have to uninstall content in the launcher considering it's habit of crashing) Got all my saves and mods in order but not everything came out unscathed. Namely my desert house which had a lot of CC. Most of…
Have you tried deleting the furniture with cheats? You can delete objects with cheats by: * Enabling cheats using Ctrl-shift-c and typing testingcheatsenabled true * Shift click on the object * Click object/Delete The object should be deleted. I've done this before when cars would get stuck on the roads with no sims inside…
@emorrill Thanks so much! If you're not 100% confident in your own work than it's not unusual to downplay it. (For me at least) So it's such a pleasant experience when others genuinely enjoy what you put out. I wasn't familiar with Santa Fe homes so I looked them up and wow, I can see the resemblance. I might…
@lizzielilyy @Katofhyrule12 @Sims4MagicalTales Aw, thank you all so much! I have to say that build is by far my best one. Than again there isn't a lot of builds to compare it too, lol. If there's one thing I took away from this is that building is a lot harder than it looks. Not to mention time consuming. (Although…
I've spent the last few sessions building a house for my sims that just moved to Lucky Palms. Mainly due to the fact that I don't like any of the empty houses already available. (Not a fan of the modern house designs which Lucky Palms is full of) Let the record show that I am not a builder and if you've seen the last house…
@Nikkei_Simmer I kind have gotten used to seeing these extremely angular sims appear once and a while in my game. It's par for the course when you play on an ~10 year old or so laptop like I do. :relaxed: It's more amusing than anything although I still get a little shook when it happens to my own sims. :joy:
