  • About half of them. I get them if I like the theme and aesthetic and can see myself using it. Then I was also gifted a few.
  • Gotta include the plumbob. Gotta include the more iconic premades, as well as plenty of easter eggs for the people who actually play. But I kinda hope it doesn't go the route of the main character becoming self aware and breaking into the real world in the end - we've seen that so many times already. Barbie did that. The…
  • Eh, sort of. Multiple different ones, both masc and fem frame and as various occults. How I might want to look and how I actually look. And I'm playing as none of them. My original sims are just more interesting to me. So I guess I could have voted no, but in all fairness, the question was "Have you created your simself",…
  • Oh boy am I feeling the bugs right now. I made the huge mistake of turning my legacy house into an apartment block lot type. It is literally stuck that way now. No matter how many times I try to make it a normal residential lot - it always reverts to a rental. So I evicted my sims, saved my lot, bulldozed it, tried the…
  • More suburban American-coded neighborhoods. Please, we have enough.
  • We have more occults than just those three! Least favorite is DEFINITELY the completely butchered sims 4 version of plantsims (they were great in sims 3 and 2!!), but if I had to pick from your limited selection... Maybe werewolves. That broken fury meter is painful to play with. The GP itself is cool, love the world it…
  • Not as an expansion pack. No. I'm not paying 400 kr for my occults to pair up and produce hybrid children that are stable and not glitched up. This is much more of a cross-pack compatibility thing. Which, don't get me wrong, I would absolutely love to have. Mixed-occult pairs already exist in countless people's games.…
  • It should be basegame, and you should be able to toggle it off.
  • Please, yes. Let it be a trait, preferably a cheap reward trait so it's easy to get and doesn't take up a trait slot. I play historical sometimes too, and had to install a mod that made the phone look like a little notebook...even though those weren't a thing yet either in the time period I'm trying to play. Still, it's…
  • Yes, please. Another blank world would be great, and this time I'd prefer something much more rural. No premade shell buildings!! Newcrest isn't really that blank when you think about it.
  • And attics are not just for storage either! In some countries, the attics are frequently used as a part of the living space, and it bugs me to heck that we can't do that in-game. For example, where I'm from: It's not uncommon to see houses that have two above-ground floors - one of which is the attic. The attic windows are…
  • Oh yes, this for sure. And it's not exactly a thing you see many CC creators wanting to make either. But male pattern baldness is a common thing in real life and a lot of men get it. Although, knowing TS4, if they added in more such hairstyles they would probably accidentally leave it available for teens too, causing…
  • Wasn't there confirmed to be a medieval build kit coming soon? It won the vote, alongside the goth CAS kit. But yeah, a full pack of this stuff would be nice.
  • the old basegame hairstyles look... So Bad But yeah I also do want the oldest packs updated. Outdoor retreat and Get To Work sorely need refreshes. Justice for aliens, thanks.
  • Okay hm. Where do I even begin- I pretty much have this whole vampire thing going on, doodled comics and all, that's really gone a bit beyond what I can do in The Sims at this point. Like I have my own lore set up that I like to follow for my story (although not all of it is exactly playable in TS4. yeah this means a lot…
  • Content = computer space. Sorry to say. When I installed the whole game with all of my packs onto this new laptop I'll use for traveling, it took up 50gb. Out of 128gb. That's almost 40% of this laptop's space. So, I specifically made a point not to install any custom content on this one. It would be too much. My main game…
  • When was this survey conducted? How did the participants find it? Anyway I'm kinda one of the minority players according to this survey. Ace and trans. We're out here. As an occult player, I hate that you're probably right... :/
  • Been playing since I was 13 and started with Sims 3. I'm 27 now. Still feels strange that there are a bunch of people my age who actually started with the original; my parents would never! They actually followed the age ratings at the time! I do feel like the forums skew towards the older age demographic overall.
  • Also, honestly, some countries just genuinely have bigger bathrooms irl. Where I live it's pretty common to also store the laundry machines here, for example. Gotta have some space for that.
  • Yeah, the sameface toddler bug is the one that has been bothering me the most, personally. They've finally said they're gonna try to fix that by January, though. Which is pretty late, as it has been an issue since Werewolves, but at least they're finally doing something about it.
  • rune over here decided to go play his keyboard while the rest of his friends were napping in their coffins :)
  • Honestly, I would love to have a straight answer to this as well. The name lists for this game in languages other than English tend to be absolutely abysmal, and I'd like to define the lists myself instead of desperately trying to find a mod that fits my needs. (which is very unlikely to exist btw) I'd like to add more…
  • Brindleton Bay is coastal so it has a lot of foggy weather, at least that was my experience the last time I played my vampires there! They also have a little kiosk where your vampires can buy fish to make plasma packs out of, haha life hack. Windenburg is also a pretty solid option.
  • Still waiting for the program to include TS4, which I heard isn't happening until early December. But yeah, I'm definitely looking forwards to auto-updating mods, because having to update them every patch is literally my least favorite part of playing with mods.
  • Forgotten Hollow.... like yes, I know it's tiny, but that's the thing. I wish it was bigger. In one of my saves I have four played households in this world, and the fifth lot is a restaurant. I just really like the gloomy vibes of the place. All the little details... Besides that, Windenburg is also good. Moonwood mill…
  • Very rarely; I honestly can't think of the last time I did it. Names are not really a thing I consider too much. I did change the surname of my Sims 3 legacy founder because I thought the original name was cringe, but that's really it. Also, I've kind of played a household of vampires for a long time, as in the same…
  • They're all about equal for me... so I don't actually know. Interiors can be rather fun and relaxing, but only if I truly know the sims living there, otherwise it's kind of... eh?? See, I often tend to do builds that I just intend to put on the gallery, so I don't always know what sims will be living there in the first…
  • Plantsims are a base game thing, so they didn't come with Eco Living. They're just kind of a hidden gameplay feature most of the time. The scenario is a great way to get them. Sims 2 and Sims 3 had plant sims too, and back then it was a permanent lifestate. Because then, the sim is implied to essentially be made out of…
