Lucky for you, storage space is a lot cheaper than the other things you named. If you can move some of your stuff off the drive that you have Sims on - you'll be in good shape since you have a good graphics card, plenty of memory and etc :)

I've never had any of Twallan's mods mess up my game like that - do you have any content in your game that is not from EA? That might have something to do with it. At the beginning, I got them every day - then they disappeared for me for over 6 weeks. Now I'm getting them about every other day; but it helps if I look for them just after midnite. I also have to skip around the site from page to page sometimes to make them pop up again. You're not alone!
