I want to change apartment boundaries. I want open neighborhoods. I want customizable catalog collections. The other issues honestly pale in comparison to these. We had all those things in Sims 2 and Sims 3, it shouldn't be hard at all.
The alien world should be like, an unlockable alien neighborhood, with a couple of lots instead of just one. You should be able to make alien households and everything.
Personally I would genuinely prefer the Sims team revisits apartments and does them properly this time. I don't want to be stuck with the same restrictive apartment layout. And I want to make multi-household apartment lots myself.
Strangerville and Forgotten Hollow definitely need more lots, Glimmerbrook could use an entire rework and also more lots, and we could use an overhaul of City Living, allowing multiple households on the same lot (like Sims 2), and allowing us to completely change the layout of San Myshuno apartments. Also, the alien party…
Relationship data between Sims within the same household should definitely be saved into the Gallery, the same way job and skill data is. I have no idea why that isn't already the case.
I would like if all occult skintones, eyes, teeth, etc. were made available to regular Sims too. There's already no reason regular Sims can't have them, and I believe you can actually save regular Sims with those features, it's just that you need mods to apply then.
Multiple seperate swatch options, like in Sims 2. At least allow us to pick things like bed frames and bedding seperately. Manual placing of fence posts, allowing us to set yourselves where each fence sections ends or begins. The ability to modify apartment boundaries and common areas.
I think it could actually work in much in the same way it does now, a neighboring house would remain inactive until you "knock on doors". Until you do, the Sims living there will only appear as passerby, the same way they already do. The biggest difference would be that you can control multiple Sims on multiple lots in the…
Personally I'm just sick of how the Sims team never revisits previously released worlds and DLCs, or properly fixes some of the existing base game assets or features. Stair railings still look all weird, as do some curved fences, we still have no option to manually place fence posts, we still have no open neighborhoods,…
What are the reasons? I really don't see why we couldn't have gotten two or three more residential lots in Strangerville. There's definitely no shortage of space for it.
Yeah, I really want to be able to make functional Plant Sims and properly customize their appearance... I wish their hair wasn't stuck the way it is, it's the part that bothers me the most about the Sims 4 iteration.
I might buy it for the pre-order bonus, but otherwise, I think I'm inclined not to. The pack does look good, but I'm unwilling to buy any further packs until some of the major issues with the base game are fixed.
We will definitely never get drivable cars, simply because the worlds were not designed for it. We won't ever see a Sim get into a car and drive away, unless the team implements that functionality in specific neighborhoods. That said, it would still be great to have cars as purchasable, interactable objects that Sims can…
The build mode functionality I want back is the ability to manually decide where each fence section begins and ends instead of the fence posts being fully automatic. Another thing I really want is open neighborhoods. Sims 3's open worlds were a bit overwhelming, but the ability to move within the neighborhood without any…
You already can ride a bike with Eco Lifestyle, Discover University, and by the looks of it, Cottage Living. Cars aren't viable as functional vehicles due to how Sims 4 neighborhoods are built, we definitely won't have animations like in Sims 2. That said, we definitely should have interactable car objects to enter and/or…
My priorities are the same as they ever were. We need an update that liberates San Myshuno apartments and allows us to change apartment boundaries and edit the public areas. Another thing I'd like to see is manual placing and removing of fence posts, and open neighborhood with no loading screens. Also, like many others…
I've got an entire list I've posted in a couple threads, but I think the highest priority out of everything I listed there is:* the ability to change apartment boundaries, * individual Sim biographies, * open neighborhoods * saving buildbuy objects into custom collection folders These are the most essential, I think, for…
I've outlined my primary issues with the game as it is now in this thread; it has primary to do with building restrictions, including the inability to customize the layout of apartments or build our own, or the lack of open neighborhoods, among others.
What do you mean? The very idea is to download the household the way other Simmers created them. Sims already keep all their traits, their careers, their skills, their lifestyles, their aspiration progress. And they already keep parent/sibling relationships. So why not also keep their relationships with other members of…
