Thank you! I had no idea it was the NAP that was causing it. You can't sell those things so I have my sims drink them all to get rid of them - it is extremely annoying!

In my experience, you will normally get the phone call within the first few days of being a teen and if you don't answer it you lose the opportunity. It has never come up again. It's extremely slow building the skill on a regular lot - a tiny residential lot goes much faster and attending a University skill class works as well. If you combine those two it probably flies by. I do but cancer and the horrible after effects of chemo have taken me out (hopefully not permanently). Currently I am having tremendous difficulty in speaking and eating and am undergoing surgeries to help correct it but it's not been anything I would wish on anyone else to experience.

I downloaded a room off the gallery that cost my sim about $300 but had 20 or 25 of the fear-b-gone potions inside - it made things easier but they still get the negative moodlets that lasts for a few hours if you don't clear the fear fast enough
