Well, I am really stubborn and I decided to really see what NS can do in a totally vanilla game with all DLC and these are my results and observations so far... First of all, Neighborhood Stories is very active and that can be good or bad! For my test, I played with 7 day seasons, aging on normal for all sims, all NS…
I took your advice and got much better results with MCCC - I added several (30) families to the game and let MCCC move them into houses - I still find some of the choices funny but it doesn't seem to matter. I didn't change much of the default settings so my YA sims are mostly left alone or not getting…
Well, I continued testing and it does seem that the game will generate some children when traveling to a few community lots - it created 2 that I ran across. The families actually stayed out of the houses even though Move In was available to them and the houses had more than enough beds, etc. Then I tried MCCC and it…
@mightysprie I appreciate that info - I’ve been keeping my sims at home due to that horrible gardening bug - tired of having to fix that ever time I change lots but I’ll do some traveling to see what that does. Thank you!
That is so funny that you said that because I just rage-built a pen for both the grill and the trash can for the exact same reason. I'm hopeful that it will be effective!
Thank you! I had no idea it was the NAP that was causing it. You can't sell those things so I have my sims drink them all to get rid of them - it is extremely annoying!
Gonna have to try firing and rehiring because all mine does is dance to the stereo all day - if they even decide to show up! However, all the townies in the world are coming over night and day and filling up my back porch with de-stressing potion from the grill - I think I have about 32 last count in my refrigerator - it's…
In my experience, you will normally get the phone call within the first few days of being a teen and if you don't answer it you lose the opportunity. It has never come up again. It's kind of like the Stay Over guest thing from Growing Together - it happens once autonomously and that is it. At least with Growing Together…
It's extremely slow building the skill on a regular lot - a tiny residential lot goes much faster and attending a University skill class works as well. If you combine those two it probably flies by. But without those expansions it is a VERY slow process to level 5 (the top). However, if you want something even more…
Just had to rage quit - have played with and without mods - sim is red in hunger sitting on bed with full plate of food but will not eat - just sits there like a rock. Had to reset - went to the bathroom and just froze - would not wash hands or do anything else - just completely froze. Had to reset again. Went to make…
Glad for some of these fixes - mostly the sink issue but looks like we're gonna have to live with the gardening dirt piles (gonna be so much fun growing fruits for nectar only to watch them revert constantly) and the never-ending Asian names (how many Kenji Yamamoto ranch hands will I get in my saves?!). There's more but…
I do but cancer and the horrible after effects of chemo have taken me out (hopefully not permanently). Currently I am having tremendous difficulty in speaking and eating and am undergoing surgeries to help correct it but it's not been anything I would wish on anyone else to experience.
I built my sim a home for his move to Riverview and tried to match the tone of the neighborhood. I don't normally build much but I enjoyed doing this - and it was the last 2 screenshots that I took!
Sit here and watch the disaster unfold like the rest of us I guess! Talk about messing up - this is unreal And now we enter hour 2 of the Baby Update Implosion - anyone else looking forward to the expansion release when we get to do this all over again?!
If it is just a short term exclusive for EA play members for a few weeks and then made available to everyone than I see no problem with it. However, if it is not, then it flies directly in the face of mod/cc creators that have items behind patreon paywalls who are forced to make the items freely available to all within a…
Hello everyone - I've been quietly reading through your stories (not quite finished yet) but missed out on joining you for all of 2022. I do enjoy seeing my sim Aldo pop up from time to time though. After my mom got so sick and then died in real life earlier this spring, I really lost interest in pretty much everything.…
It was all working fine and now it won't read any of my store content and tells me to update to the latest version of the game - it already is updated to 1.69 - I'm redownloading Origin and getting rid of this garbage app until they figure out what the heck they are doing - I should never be surprised when it comes to EA -…
This was well-played on EA's part. After the HSY patch made the game very unplayable for most (can't turn off fears/wants, trendi clothing while they shower, slow walking everywhere, still excessive phone usage for sims, bust the dust that doesn't have dust to bust, simulation lag, patches that address…
It all reminds me of the big presentation they did during Sims 3 when they announced University and several other things all at once. They then rushed out every pack so fast and as for the bugs, we kept hearing the same things - "We hear you", "We're listening", "We'll let the right people know who work on xxx". And…
I downloaded a room off the gallery that cost my sim about $300 but had 20 or 25 of the fear-b-gone potions inside - it made things easier but they still get the negative moodlets that lasts for a few hours if you don't clear the fear fast enough
