It is because pools weren't originally in the came so they didn't add it buy then they eventually added a bunch of optional generations on top of the first 10. You can do it in any order you want though!

@sunblond Oh I can't use mods because I play console but if I ever get it on PC I'll try to find a mod to do that! I honestly didn't think there would be one for some reason. At least I'm not the only one with this issue! :)

I'm not sure. My female has the fertility reward trait and I try to get her to watch children's tv but she's only ever had single babies. Five times. And they were all boys.
