The police are so lame at uni. I had a burglar try to rob my sims twice (lol, I forced the NPC visit - wanted to see if burglaries were possible at uni). The burglar managed to run past the police officer, hop on their bike and drive past/through the parked police car. u__u; The police officer: It looks like the burglar…
That happened to my sims. It's even more awkward when that sim is no longer a professor but a student. I don't know if it was a glitch but I saw it, lol.
I believe that's normal. It'll reappear once they start their classes again on Monday. I think it's done so your sims' performance doesn't go down over the weekend while your sims chill out and relax.
You're doing nothing wrong, lol. The room-mates are total pigs and will not clean up after themselves. Hire a maid/butler/buy Bonehilda and they'll clean up the place for you. Level up the skills that are related to your sim's major to help maintain their grade, combine this with occasional studying and your sims should be…
I've had this glitch before, it would happen when my sims took romantic pictures with their lovers. It stopped after I updated my nraas mods to the latest patch level. Do you have any mods installed? edit: The sim'll change back to themselves when they change their clothes.
CTRL + SHIFT + C Type in: testingcheatsenabled true Then SHIFT + CLICK your sim and select "Modify Traits for Active Sim" and remove the trait. edit: Wait... that doesn't work for these Social Group Added traits, how strange!
A Levels? Well done! :D I finished my A Levels last year, on a gap year now. Lectures are great, my sim's best friend fell asleep next to him during a med/science one: The two guys behind them were hungry throughout the whole thing which was annoying, then this happened: This happens more often than you think! 8)
It's not just you. I don't know why but it seems like needs decline very quickly at uni, probably because everyone's stressed out over exams. :P I keep seeing starving NPC's during/after lectures who will then take it upon themselves to pee themselves so that they stink too. It's silly because they seem to completely…
What makes me laugh is, the game can be quite harsh when it comes to relationship reputation. However, it's regarded as perfectly okay for your sim to date someone else and kiss/woohoo their ex partner to their heart's content. They won't be labelled as a cheat or naughty because their ex can't be tagged as a romantic…
University Life > University. I enjoy the hundreds of new interactions in this EP, I've said this sooo many times but the smartphone is just amazing. I think the open campus setting just works so well with this expansion. In TS2 Uni, it felt very confined and a bit boring. > o<
My sim kept getting invites from a random vampire guy. I believe he's roommates with Miles? Their party was kinda lame anyway, everyone was complaining because they all wanted to use the keg at the same time. :x
I've noticed the smelly roommates/other students. I had two guys grizzle about being hungry for an entire lecture and then one pee'd himself after the lecture was over. I think the AI is glitchy at the moment.
One of my sims has a class on "The History of (O)Estrogen" (sorry, I added the O because I'm from the UK and that's how we spell oestrogren here. xD) I wonder if he's having fun in that class, yay for proteins!
I've noticed that it does go down for me while my sims aren't studying/in class/lectures. I haven't monitored it closely but I will when I load up the game again.
I love it, it's amazing. They've added so much to this expansion, I'm sure you'll love it too. My favourite aspects of this EP are the smartphone/social networking features and university lectures! I'm so happy that they're not rabbhitholes and you can ask questions and take notes!
I'm in the same situation as you. My sim has 10 logic and he has tons of space rocks both big and small on display in the lot. I see the alien's vehicle perpetually parked at the science lab, but no actual aliens. The Galaxa thing is there during the day which is weird.
This is good practice even if you're not low on RAM. It's like clearing an internet cache, unnecessary bloating is something that should be removed. c: Thanks for this thread.
That's odd, I tend to have a lot of Sims at my festivals. Maybe it's due to your system specs? (The more sims at a location, the more system intensive the game becomes). Then again, I don't really know what to suggest! :( Mine get busier during the afternoon, especially after school/work has finished for most sims for…
I agree with 4utumn, Alienware is nice but in general, you're paying a large sum of money for a system that can be much cheaper if you build the system yourself. Gaming laptops will always be inferior in a sense to desktops, they do overheat quickly and you generally can't upgrade them. I'd go for a desktop, if I were you.…
