Some more sims. I don't have color names and hex codes for this batch because my computer decided it needed to update and it shut down the color generator page before I could write them down. Martina Frimann Estella Olivia Sophia Rios Adam Birch Ari Wong Rajita and Jennika Wong
Update: I've been able to successfully switch families in a save where the glitch happened. Not sure if it's fixed, but I think I know how to avoid it.
Elliot Household: Jackie Elliot before. Jackie in the color Tomato Red (Hex #A12312, RGB 161-35-18). Felicia Lin before. Felicia in the color Ochre Yellow (Hex #AEA04B, RGB 174-160-75).
The Day Household: Ciro Perry before. Ciro with the color Pearl Light Gray (Hex #9C9C9C, RGB 156-156-156) Miriam Day before. Rae lifeguarding to some beautiful scenery. There hasn't been anyone at the beach recently, probably because it's autumn in game and not particularly warm.
Actually a really short epic. I'd use long instead, but it doesn't allow enough days in the adult stage. Baby - 7 Toddler - 15 Child - 30 Teen - 28 Young adult - 82 Adult - 99 Elder - 93 I like to imagine one sim day as three months, to keep the three day pregnancies proportional, and this adds up to a fairly realistic…
I've been renovating one of the Appaloosa Plains starter homes for my sim. No structural changes yet, but I added a nice garden to the front yard. Floor plan is also still mostly the same, but I shrank the bathroom. And some color scheme changes to the kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom.
Some fun things I've discovered recently: 1. The Marshall family in Appaloosa Plains has a horse urn on their property that they for some reason keep in the nursery. It's quite entertaining to see this ghost come out because it's a horse wandering around the second floor of a house. 2. Horses can eat the newspaper. 3. Sims…
I've been playing a different save the past couple of days (I have about 5 I cycle through with any regularity). No rules or challenges in this one, just me doing whatever I want with the game. My sim in this save is named Aspen and she had just finished her first term in university. She did 6 credits in technology and got…
I think it would have been sometime around 2009 or 2010. I had a playstation 2 and I'd never heard of the Sims, but I saw Sims 2 Pets for PS2 at gamestop and wanted it because it had animals in it. I also had regular Sims 2 on the PS2 but didn't play it that often. About a year or two later, I got Sims 3 on PC and have…
I'm interested in both, but I can't say I really "plan" on buying either at the moment. I'll see how they turn out and then decide. Also, no matter which I buy, if either or even both, I won't stop playing Sims 3.
Love the update! Veronica's new outfit is super cute, and it's great to see the Beach-Gentrys still in love. Also nice to see the creative institute finally get some use. I thought that was a cool idea for a lot.
@bekkasan Thanks for the comment! @HillyBeth Congrats on all the birthdays! @Turjan That is quite the drama-filled game you've got there. It looks like fun! @GraceyManor I have that pink pop-up message too.
Love this thread idea and everyone's houses! My current families are all living in pre-made and/or WIP houses (or on their lawns, lol), but I'll probably be back with some build projects or renovation updates.
Lacy finally learned the gardening skill and planted the free seeds. There were a lot more food seeds in that set, so that's good. I also discovered that sims can eat wolfsbane flowers if they roast it on the fire pit, but I don't think I'll be making use of that unless they have no other food source because it does seem…
I started a new save yesterday for a survival type challenge, so I've been playing that today. It's kind of like a mash-up between the Adam and Eve and rags to riches challenges. I started with two founder sims in an empty (except for junkyard) world where they'll try to start a town. But, they don't get a house at first…
It is really sad to see this challenge go. It looks like it would have been a lot of fun. (Although, I don't think I really get to say much, considering it's kind of my fault it's gone. I had wanted to do that last challenge, but March just got away from me, so I thought I'd do April instead... Oops, big mistake. If only I…
Literally only made an account to try and participate in a building challenge. Saw the membership requirements and.... might not stick around. Hardly seems worth it.
