Hello everybody. After updating to 1.36, I noticed that my residential house had "cannot add, change, or remove objects outside of your unit" message as if it was an apartment. Whoa, I was freaking out when I saw my name in the title of a thread, I thought I was in trouble :mrgreen: I tried your suggestions but the launcher still couldn't run. I however was able to bypass the launcher and actually play the game with no problem. I'm guessing I'll have to reinstall all the games to get the launcher…

I have Norton Internet Security and checked my history/quarantine list and found nothing about the Sims 3 launcher. I tried opening it with Origin but still nothing. I guess I'm waiting... :(

At least you guys can play for a bit, as soon as I patched my game, I got an error message, "Sims3Launcher has stopped working" immediately after clicking the icon.

Hey guys, the same thing happened to me. Not even using my dog's BFF worked. I just had a "lightbulb" moment though when I saw I could pick up my small dog. After picking him up, the sim bathed my dog! :)
