That works too, Kristin. Thanks for your vote! Haids-It's not that complicated really. I'm scared to post pics here because I don't get the bit about resizing them. Thanks for taking the time to give my thread a look, anyway.
Are you using the winrar program to extract the info from the files? I'm not really good at the technical stuff, but there's an amazing tutorial on downloading at mts. I hope it helps. Edit. Oops. Thanks Aarin.
I just read your whole story in a single sitting! It's very good. I like that you've done something different than the typical "pretty sim" stories. Very different! Bookmarked!
I had that Riku hair in ts2. It was one of my favorites, and I wasn't aware there was a ts3 version out, so, thanks for getting that out there. I've been playing with the base game as is, and haven't really started with the cc yet. I had a lot of it with ts2, though, that I LOVED! I'll have to get cc shopping!!!
I had a female sim there. She married Billy Caspian. He was a slob, but he'll clean up if you make him. I don't know. A lot of the males in Riverview ID as being rich, making them illegal as founder spouses. Maybe a cute mailman? Good luck and have fun!
I think it's so they're sure to get your attention, since it's one of the early indicators of pregnancy. Just my opinion. Happy simming and congrats on your Legacy!
The Bistro is a workplace. They can't have it be a rabbit hole for workers and not for diners. If you want to watch your sim eat in public, go to the park or the beach and have a picnic or a barbecue. Never in previous Sims games have we watched our sims at work or school, and it fast forwards during that time, so it just…
Ooohhh! I'm soo sorry for your troubles, Charlee! I can totally empathize. My hubby was let go due to downsizing too, and we lost our house. But at least I didn't lose my Sims or my lappy! How's that for messed up priorities?!? On the upside, we have a new house, and hubby started a new job last week, so we are…
Christopher Steel married my founder. He's not rich. And he gave her some decent looking babies. http://www.thesims3.com/contentDetail.html?contentId=56856 If you want to check it out. Or not, if you think it will spoil the surprise! Happy simming!
I ran into that problem, too. If you turn aging on for at least one sim-day, they should appear on the list. I guess this prevents you cake-aging someone from baby to adult in a single day.
As Debra said, you have to have gotten level 1 fitness to jog. Then, what I usually do, is this: When my sim wants to go somewhere, say the bookstore, I'll click next to the bookstore circle, not on it. This gives me a close-up of the area near the bookstore. Then I click the ground (with the sim I want to jog active, of…
If their wish is to "have a child," then a woo hoo won't satisfy it. Also, you don't have to wait for them to age. Even with the lifetime set to long, you can age the kids up whenever you want with the birthday cake. Anyway, this isn't really an answer, but do whatever makes you happy. It's your game. But sometimes it's…
I miss the gardener. I understand that now the flowers don't need watering, and those abhorrent weeds don't pop up all over, there is less for a gardener to do. BUT...For my sim to tend her garden, which consists of 15 plants, takes about 6 sim hours, so that's, like, a day's main activity, once you've factored in…
