So...lovely! The tile in the kitchen is my absolute favorite! And I have to agree about the colors...you manage to keep the same colors throughout but it isn't at all redundant. Rec'd. Beautiful!
I have to say, I kind of smile with happiness every time I see the words "victorian" and "ruthless_kk" by each other because it always means something pretty spectacular for a starter! Another wonderful build! Rec'd.
I will admit my antivirus/firewall was a couple months behind. I went to TSR for three years and never had a problem. Then a little while ago I clicked on the Sims 3 article from creator's camp, and my internet window started clicking over and over again. I immediately started getting pop ups, different windows popping up…
Seconded. I had a trojan virus from TSR after reading an article there. I had to completely reformat my computer. It was sad because I used to be a member, and contributed on their challenges for a short time. Be careful!
That was...insane. lol. That house is a masterpiece, and I can't wait to see in regular time some of the ways you did it. The split levels, underground garage, indoor/outdoor pool all combined. Fantastic!
Wonderful Addict! I love the stone, and especially the windowed wall in the kitchen. The colors are fantastic. :) Rec'd! I have to ask...how did you get the three suns on that wall at different heights?
Sparkle, I love your kitchen! I want it in my house! :D I also like your little garbage can fencing. I might have to use that idea in the future. lol It looks great!
Rosewood Manor B&B: There's quite a few pictures, but there's quite a few rooms! Yay Freynas! I'm so glad to hear you got your lot uploaded! ^^ It's no fun working on something and then being unable to share it. Looks beautiful by the way!
Just thought I'd mention Anjubee is my hero ^^ I tried this and removed the word "backup" from the file name and bang! It's back! :D This is fabulous and great information for everyone because it sounds like it happens to a lot of people! Done derailing and back to my landscaping! Whee!
Thanks all. :) I know nothing about the internal files of the game. I have never backed anything up in the library, but I think I might start to now. lol. As far as I can see, everything is gone. I can redownload a couple things from my page, but it's mostly starting from scratch. Ah well. I'm calmer now. lol. I grounded…
It's beautiful Addict! I know it's a small detail, but I LOVE the pillars on the front porch with the two colors. They're striking. Landscaping is pretty and bright, and the house is nice and roomy! Rec'd. :)
I am so upset I could cry. I know it's just a game but... I've had my build done since Thursday night. All customer colored and ready to go. I've just been obsessing about my landscaping. I've been watching tutorials and building bridges and overhead trellis with greenery and foundation flowerbeds and...well...trying to…
They look great KitKat! I had the same problem with my commune family; it wouldn't let me put a teen and young adult as brother and sister. I finally gave in and turned her into a young adult.
Here's my Sims! The Commune of Everlasting Sunshine. Sims: http://www.thesims3.com/assetDetail.html?assetId=644161 Introduction Story: http://www.thesims3.com/contentDetail.html?contentId=58741
I'm having a blast on this one so far! :D Great challenge again Addict! ^^ I do have one question...I know you said we can replace the fencing, but can we move it, or does the new fencing have to go where the old was?
Official Entry Firm Name: Kharii's Concept and Design Experience Level: Intermediate Lot Name: Sharp Residence Final Cost: $141,730 Details/Rationale: Not too much to say...this was a tough one for me, but a lot of fun! The color scheme was a challenge and I enjoyed it a lot. Link:…
Mine's pretty basic. I didn't even realize I was doing it at first. lol. I put a willow tree in every lot I create. Every town I created in TS2 was "Willow Valley" or "Willow Creek" or Willow Mountain" or something. It popped up a lot in my street names in TS2 too.
You can use any decorative cheat you'd like. It's just things that give people an unfair advantage like turning off aging or giving a million happiness points or having all needs full at all times sorts of things. Great houses! Very creative; it's a pain having them living outside at first. I might have to try this too.
That was great Mmyoko! I have to agree, the double scare was my favorite. The dancing in their underwear was pretty hilarious as well. Good luck with the showcase!
Hi all! I'm new around here. Here's my build information for the challenge; Firm Name: Kharii's Concept Design and Landscaping Experience Level: I'd say probably intermediate. I know a few tricks and I build for myself for fun all the time. I've only entered a couple challenges in Sims 2, and this is my first one with Sims…
