    • I just been looking at the package i downloaded from the exchange with s3pe. Each package has a file header error, EA messed up thier own program. Nothing you can do, we just have to wait untill EA figures it out.

    • I have the same problem before. I get the message that my game needs the latest patch. And yes I have installed the last patch. I have seen this before, I bet if I buy diseil every thing i will work right. It is just a little EA bug to get people buy the deseil stuff patch.

    • Well I found my problem. E/A managed to corrupt my user file and my administrator rights. I ended up reinstalling windows. That is the fix.

    • There is a lot on this problem in the CAW section. What is happening is the latest CAW program wants the lastest E/A patch. For this patch to work you need to have Town life. There is a work aroud but the simplest solution is to get Town life. Let the game update, reinstall CAW.

    • Well SimJynx. I never touched the Pet Demo. But I decided to do a clean install last week. My Sims game on Origin will not install either. The helpful people at Origin have either ignored my post or delete them here and on the Origin help board. I have tried everything they suggest everywhere.

    • I never install CAP. and I have wipped my computer clean off all E/A, sims, and origin content. I have read and did everything E/A has suggested. I suspect E/A in thier last update forgot about sme sneak file they put on thier consumer computer that is causing th problem.

    • I used CCLEANER it does not help And no you can not bypast the launcher since we are download the game from Origin. I know it was a bad idea to get the game online. Thanks for the good idea anyway.

    • Sorry did that yesterday it does not help It has something to do Origin. I did a comlete wip of all E/A stuff on my computer. When I download the game from Origin it gets to ready to install, ask for the country then runs for minute and stops. No error code at all, it just stops.

    • If you exported the world once make sure you delete or move the world in the soms export file. You will, if you have installed the world, also uninstall the world throught the launcher.
