I was super excited for this pack until I realized I can't put a high school in any other world. Unless a modder fixes that, it's a hard pass at this point.
I've got to say: I'm impressed. I loved the Vampire pack and this is definitely so much better! I never watch these Livestreams all the way through but I did this one and you can tell a lot of work went into this pack! Good job Sims team!
Sometimes I think these "leaks" are actually on purpose. Which is okay with me, because it certainly gives the community something to talk about. I'd buy an EP like this and I'm stoked for werewolves as well.
Reading this post made me realize I don't play with any of those features you mentioned anymore and some, for example playing as a vampire, a veterinarian, or a business owner, I've not done at all. The only career I've consistently returned to over and over is the writer career; every other career I've played only once. I…
Hard mode would be great but not hard like Sims 1 was for me; such work to keep their levels up, and if a cheat or mod existed for that, I wasn't aware of it. It made me a bundle of nerves just trying to keep them happy. :-)
Of those choices, surprisingly my pick is Magnolia Promenade. I just like how cohesive it feels when I build residential lofts there and move in Sims that have creative type careers, like artists and writers.
I like building Victorians or Craftsmen because I like the curb appeal; I also like building one-story brick ranchers from back in the 1960s and 1970s. But I like "playing" one story, modern homes, probably because that's the type of house I'd like to have in real life.
I actually like to be alone and I'm not normally comfortable around groups of more than two or three people at a time, so isolation is not stressing me. For once I actually have plenty of time to play the Sims but I find that I can't really get any enjoyment out of it. It's almost as if I just can't lose myself in a…
First she wouldn't cook, now she cooks but won't clean. I used LEA and it indicated the cooking issue was furniture; I did batch fixes on that. Anyone have idea what's keeping her from cleaning? <?xml version="1.0" ?><root>…
In one save, I turned it into residential with brick warehouse-type homes; everyone that lived there were artists. In another save, I used it for restaurants and bars, kind of a party square. Its one of my favorite places because it is like its on little place.
I just went through the same thing @kamra19610 . Had to do a couple of searches online but like Cinebar said, had to install Graphics Rule Maker and learned how to change my screen resolution. This helped: https://simscommunity.info/2016/04/27/the-sims-2-setting-up-the-resolution-windowed-mode-smooth-edges-sim-shadows/ as…
I got it for about $12 less through a different seller than Origin but even if I had paid full price, I would feel as if it were worth it. Heck, forty dollars equals two trips to the deli for me and my S/O; it's the price of one dinner at a very special restaurant my family and I visit a couple of times a year for special…
About half of my Sims are writers. I don't even do it through the freelancer career, I just have them sit down and start writing. In the beginning, I'm able to write a book per day and as they progress in writing skill, they end up taking a couple of days to write a book. I actually like it in that they can get up in the…
According to a tweet I saw, the embargo lifts June 11. I want to get a look around to see what kind of house will fit in with the surroundings and the environment and then I plan on building and preparing to move my current sim. Super excited for this pack!
I don't do a lot of landscaping. It seems to me that a lot of trees on the lot makes the camera bounce around and just gets in the way of me seeing what's going on around the lot, and the trees that are outside the lots (the ones we can't remove) get in the way enough as it is. OP, I love what you added, striking and just…
@Evalen , that's my dog when he was a puppy, he's a seven year old English Creme Doodle. Back on topic, the vampire pack got me back into doing more "playing" and less building and Strangerville has now surpassed it as my favorite GP. That's a great idea; if I used a couple of those loose rules, I wouldn't feel so hectic…
@Evalen I rarely play couples or families, usually only single Sims. I play with aging off, or at least I don't let them get but a few days into elderhood before I turn it off, so I've actually never had one of my elders die. The main reason I play single sims is because I just find it too nerve-wracking to try to take…
