Kids can earn or buy the paranormal license, but not use it for much of anything. I wonder how much they can do with the pack. Any time something is limited, I am curious how much I can squeeze out of it.
I use very little clutter. Clutter raises taxes and bills and does not contribute to skill building and meeting needs. I cannot afford to have clutter on my lots. I have no use for an unusable bed!
This happens to me every week or so. I must restart my computer at least once, sometimes I must restart more than once. Thankfully it happened to me a couple times before any major updates so that I knew it was a separate issue from any updates. Everything is still there. There is just a glitch in the app recognizing the…
In my game, Kyle was living in a home in Copperdale. My Home Alone child sim went and visited him. She hung out and when I noticed a menu item that said, "put to bed", I used it. He put the child to bed, but then told her it was not appropriate and asked her to stop. She jumped out of the bed.
She just got level 15 vampire lore. It says the cure must be made at a bar. I doubt she can do that. I read that children can earn or purchase the paranormal license but can only show it, not use it. I am assuming this level of lore will open up more conversation options. Hopefully I can make some money from this somehow.…
I only play vanilla on a PC, too. I do use cheats, but no cc or mods. I am not sure if it required the cas.fulleditmode cheat to create the shift-click menu option to remove the adult.
She will turn into a werewolf when she is a teen if she swims in the lake on a full moon. I do not think she becomes a vampire from learning vampire lore. I heard that hybrids are so glitchy that they are impossible to play. I want to make sure to avoid anything that will glitch. I prefer to play vanilla without any mods…
I don't think we can build the wellness skill even though we can "like" it and use wellness objects. A child can eat holiday grand meals at the universities. She seems to be able to enter the dorms and hang out there and even sleep in the beds. I don't know if all children can explore the underground tunnels in Moonwood…
This keeps happening to me over and over. If I restart my computer and the game a few times, it eventually sorts itself out. I am glad that it happened to me before the big update, so that I did not think it was an issue with the update.
I would like an African world that made each neighborhood so different that they reflected the incredible diversity of the continent. I would like one of the neighborhoods to be like Egypt, and another like the plains, and another one more green or mountainous.
As long as repairable items are on a community lot, someone else will eventually fix them. So far, I am trying not to alter the community lots and trying to figure out how to just travel to as many places as possible and discover all the little nooks and crannies. But for the video station, I might have to alter a…
"Home Alone" sounds better than living alone. If anyone creates any type of challenge, maybe that could be part of the title. But the child cannot live in a typical home, though.
Children cannot repair appliances, so everything that needs to be repaired can only be replaced. The jungle adventures table does not need to be repaired. So far my dumpster has not been knocked over, and I have the added gameplay of dumpster diving. Not being able to pick up the trashcan got old fast. I am not sure how I…
I have never added a restaurant to my game. I don't want to own one, and I don't see how to have a restaurant in the game without having playable sims that own it. I wish there was at least one restaurant that was in the game and staffed by townies.
Oh, and also some of the dorm items are essential for the 2X2 micro homes. The dorm stuff is better than the tiny home stuff for the very smallest homes.
I am playing a child sim for the first time and she lives alone. Her food options are quite limited. I am still figuring out what she can and cannot order at the universities. It seems like a child can eat at the cafeterias most of the time, but not when there is a keg nearby. Children cannot use bars or even the coffee…
I love the world. I use it a lot for things other than weddings. It is a great place for a child/teen sim to sell their flowers and grab a piece of cake or an eggroll on the way home. It is nice place to fish or build fitness skills while swimming. There is a tomato plant growing on the bottom of the hill below the rental…
Kits sound good to me after such a big update and EP. I don't want more gameplay in general right now, even though I have a few specific things that I do want. I am playing a child for the first time, and I am playing her as a runaway. I wish there were more options for a child to ask adults for assistance in the things…
I use different saves. My main save is my supersim. If I get bored, I start a new save for a little while, but soon grow far more bored with that new save, and return to my supersim. Sometimes I upload my supersim, and download her into a new save and do something very different with her for a bit, like change her age. I…
The university shower can be used in a doorway and can be walked past to get to the toilet or sink. It can be squeezed into spaces that otherwise need to stay empty for walking. I love that shower and use it all the time in my 2x2 and 2x3 micro homes.
I saw that I had two best friends and I was not sure what to make of that. I have had a lot of bugs both before and after the update and there are still so many things that I don't know about the game. I am observing more than coming to conclusions. Thanks for clarifying about that!
I have only seen the option in the shower, not the tub. I don't think it is possible to turn off this feature for teens. It drives me nuts. No matter how many times I go into CAS and turn it off, the hair just keeps growing. Ignoring the hair gets her taunted and puts her in a mood that totally takes over the entire rest…
