The reason I am saying that is because of the game itself. I have been playing this since 2000. Trust me. I have logged in a ridiculous amount of hours. The cost alone is crazy. I can honestly say I have spent thousands. That was because of the creativity factor. To me it is a hobby. I would not spend that on any other…
I don't use this feature either, but from my understanding you need to have a account and own the game you want to play with friends. You have to use the computer that has the game installed on it. This does not work for all games. You then need to add a link to that computer which will allow you to play the game on…
Hi Cinebar. I agree with you. I do not do this , but from the sounds of it, I think this will be something like the Steam Remote Play. You need internet to do this.
I do not really view someone who plays the Sims a gamer. Sure, they could play other games, but this is more like a hobby than a true game. You tell stories, you build, you create. I see no reason for a pay for a subscription service or microtransactions to do this, if that is their intention.
It really is the best thing that could have ever happened to a Sims game. Having some healthy competition. I do not mind waiting for LBY or Paralives to finish their development. Please do not rush. Take the time you need. Be satisfied with your product. This also includes the Sims.
I am going to say yes. I have my eye on it and I like what I see so far. I know we have not really seen much in the line of gameplay, but I am impressed with what I have seen in the build side of things. I remember sims 1 when no one knew what that was, and what it did become. I think when they finish Paralives and finally…
The Sim's 4 is seriously lacking for a Sim's game. The "I hear you" has become nothing more than a silly platitude. I would let it go. I am not sure how Sim's 5 will fair, especially if it is online. The controversy over another online game has never been popular on the threads I have seen. The trust has been broken for a…
To be honest, I am not really sure why my game is still on my computer. I bought the last 3 EP's for under 20 dollars a pack. They are still unopened. I don't even have the interest to install them. So sad. Maybe one day.
I have enjoyed the journey as well. I am glad I still have the complete sets of Sims 1-3, although I have to admit I am distancing myself from Sims 4 anymore and Sims 5, if there is one, may be forgotten entirely. Sims 4 is just not the game it should have been.
It says a lot about this game and where it is going when the LGR doesn't want to review it anymore. I understand him completely. Sometimes it is just time to say goodbye. You can only remain frustrated with what this game is lacking in for so long.
Disappointing! Is this really the best you can do? People have been asking and pleading for so many other things for this game. Hardly for this pack, which is only a cash grab advertisement for Disney's Star Wars.
Maybe when it is 50% off. Technically you could have already done this without the pack. It is another addition, like my first pet. It gives you a few build buy things to spark your interest. And a silly bed that wants to kill your sims, probably even more then the cow plant does. Where are the bunk beds, the ladder, or…
Personally, I just think it is hope, fueled with hype, and then followed with disappointment. Which then again leads to hope, fueled by hype, and then followed by disappointment.
I wonder what would happen if the guru's took a look at this thread and saw some of the things that maybe peaked peoples interest. Would they act on it? Let's hope so. I doubt it will be for Sims 4, but maybe Sims 5, if there is one. The thread doesn't break any rules that I can see. Feedback can be very valuable,…
The review was fun to watch as always. It was worth the wait. I hope he had fun on his well deserved vacation. I am happy he took some time for himself. I had already opted not to buy it. Maybe or maybe not when it is 50% off.
The male sims have always gotten the short end of the stick. So have toddlers, children, and elders. It is not fair. I think most player's would like these sims to look good too. It is not just about the ladies.
Sims 4 is incredibly underwhelming for what you would expect from a Sims game. I stopped buying it. I may or may not reconsider it again at 50% off. I am a completist, but sometimes you have to make a change.
I don't know if it will ever be fixed. I doubt it. Sadly, for a lot of the player's I see a circle of hope, followed by hype, and then followed by disappointment, until eventually the wheel breaks.
The game changers is meant to be a extension to marketing. Their role is to get the word out hopefully in a positive light. EA/ Maxis flies them in for this reason. Their mind, however, is still their own. They certainly can mention the issues they see, but their purpose is not to test the game for EA. There is nothing…
What little I have seen looks amazing for builders. It all starts somewhere. Whatever it becomes, it is what the Sims needs. Someone who is not afraid to compete.
I am not alarmed by it. I would rather see a little given for free then pay twice for a recolor that can be made in 5 minutes. I do own all the packs with the exception of the last EP and GP.
In sims 3 the features were better. You had so many creative outlets to choose from. Building, decorating, telling stories, creating sims, creating mods and CC, creating machinima, and world building. Or you could just play. In sims 4 there is no world building. You can flip a town, but that is not the same thing. It is a…
