I don't want to be a downer but a lot of that trailer featured alot of things we can already do.. I thought Julia was signing at the end sitting at the table :p
I'm really glad I read this and had my expectations for non rabbit hole gameplay shattered before I watched the trailer :D I feel like this post is spot on haha
Ah finally. A place where I can be my salty self haha :D I've been super disappointed that the classes and new careers look like they’re going to be rabbit holes.
@zamira82 yes haha its an expensive hobby if you look back on how much you’ve spent just on the sims games but I suppose it could be worse :p whatever they do I hope they don’t move to in game transactions
Idk I feel like VR isn’t mainstream enough. Who knows what will happen in the next 4 years though :) I also hope they don’t switch to VR... actually maybe that’s a good thing, then I’ll probably stop throwing cash at EA haha
I love the idea of pre/early teens! Right now they jump from an innocent 7 year old straight to a ‘messing around’ 17 year old. Not only the crazy height difference but there’s no awkward crushes, first sleep overs, friendship bracelets- just the whole awkward growing up phase. :p
All of these ideas are amazing :D I would love if other households had their own story progression! I don’t have any hope for it ever coming to the game but I think most of your other ideas will come eventually :)
The new way of communication is definitely not transparent But It gets us all jumping on the hype train and going straight to the forums to talk/speculate about these things with other fans so I don’t mind. I love reading other peoples comments about what they think it might be :)
I’m sure I read a tweet a few weeks back saying that they’d need to research how sims would walk up/down spiral stairs- maybe they’re finally getting on that :p
@zamira82 I watched that trailer again after I read your comment! So many hints on things on later stuff that the sims has released- and I noticed laptops are in there <3
@Karon what would be the difference between being a police officer and being a detective? I feel like the detective career pretty much covers what police officers do? (Patrolling, apprehending law breakers, endless paper work) I feel like if they did change anything it could just be adding emergency calls if burgulars make…
@Movotti 3 hours might not sound like much but it is a huge chunk of time out of our lives just to travel Better off living in a dorm in the USA than spending 6 hours in travel each day- his poor friend would have no time to play the sims! :'(
I guess everyone’s different and the sims team are pretty good at including everyone’s culture so it’ll be interesting to see what they come up with :)
The sims had a crossover with final fantasy. Assassins creed had a cross over with final fantasy. So maybe the sims and assassins creed will have a crossover! lmao maybe a llama mount for AC :p
That's brilliant!! I love that there's so many tiny things that can completely change a sims story! So if you could have any career that would mesh into your story what would it be?
You have a point :) it does take up a huge chunk out of the day but when I give them a playable career that usually is the story But when I said hands on I had at home jobs in mind- like writing, painting, gardening, bee keeping, city living careers :)
The sims is so diverse and accepting of everyone so I think they’ll include everyone when they get to bringing education to the sims- including oldies <3 This opinion hasn’t gone over well in the past but I hope they break up these some of these ideas up into different packs so we end up with something with a lot more…
I haven’t finished all the rabbit hole jobs we do have because they just don’t interest me :p I’d prefer hands on jobs- or maybe if they bring out more like the few that have the option to work from home or go in so every kind of simmer can enjoy :) I do love your idea about more after school activities though <3
@drake_mccarty That makes sense :) Do you think they’ll come out with a new residential world before the year is up? I thought with combined holiday destinations and residential worlds they’d be at least 10 more probably way too optimistic haha But they are planning on releasing content for years to come. I don’t know…
@VentusMatt you can have a retail lot and just have your sim close the store but stay on it. Also “multi purpose lots” you can make different buildings on a bigger lot and put different items in each one (one selling cafe items, one selling books for a book store, and a another selling herbs or flowers). But your sim would…
I was thinking about sims cars about 5 minutes ago :) it would be cool to have motorbikes to drive through the Selvadorada jungle. You’d have to get off it to clear a path but going back would be a lot quicker :p What do you guys think? Terrible idea? Haha Also the open world debate- I would be okay with just clicking the…
