Was just doing the 'catch up on needs' thing when I told my sim to get leftovers from the fridge and nothing happened, tried a second and third time and again nothing. Then I remembered they will not automatically get out of the pool to get the leftovers, you have to tell them to get out first THEN make them eat. And I…
If my sim goes into hermit mode and stays at home alone to grind out skills and aspirations then after several days they'll get party invites. When I put a vampire into their coffin to hibernate long term they get a party invite about once an in-game week.
A couple days ago I would have said "down" as I was getting bored with it, but then bought StrangerVille and Tiny Living on sale. Feel like I did everything that can be done with StrangerVille within a day and almost the same with Tiny Living, but this weekend will probably try some tiny home builds so it's a hesitant "up"…
Can definitely relate, and it's made worse by the feeling that the game is going to spring a surprise on me sometime soon like when aliens abducted my sim and gave me an alien baby to play with. Will my current sim who enjoys her mean and loner traits too much manage to develop more than just an acquaintance with someone?…
The way many "masterpiece" paintings are actually worth less than other works, you get the additional Confidence moodlets obstructing the Inspired mood you want for less Simoleans.
Saved the old Goth household because I was sure I'd be switching them back to that version, but after seeing them in game I think I'm changing my mind.
My latest sims bladder failures were due to the traps in Jungle Adventure while doing the "No Skills, No Problem" scenario. Other than that I tend to drop everything and send them to he nearest toilet when I see that need hit red, and Steel Bladder is one of the first reward traits I give my sims to null out that problem.
Just had a sim whose hygiene was low use up a Waterfall in a Bottle (from Jungle Adventure) instead of using the shower directly behind him. Sometimes I think these sims are like children that take delight in making their babysitters and substitute teachers crack.
Latest way my sims have been trying to drive me insane, popping open an umbrella and giving me the no-can-do wave to what I put in the queue for them because they are, well, holding an umbrella. Some rain drops hit their head and they pop out the umbrella, and apparently they are incapable of holding the umbrella and…
Kinda relieved it's not just me, but still sucks. Lost a day's worth of play when I did a Save and Exit and it flashed the error code just before closing. Been working around it by using Save As when I get the message and making sure I get a successful save before exiting.
James Turner did a video playing the Unlucky Chef scenario, I can't cook without catching fire in The Sims 4. Even after maxing the cooking skill, buying the most expensive stove, and buying the fire sprinkler system he had fires.
Started and completed the No Skills No Problem scenario last night. Never realized what a handicap it could be to not be able to gain and improve skills, it was torture watching a whole garden glitter and not being able to evolve the plants because my sim couldn't get the Gardening skill. Once I ditched my initial plans to…
Recently tried playing with all the Lot Challenges on plus Cat Hangout and Dog Hangout for added chaos, and the cats and dogs were often the most annoying. My sim being unable to get into bed because of the cat that wouldn't shoo, a dog sleeping on the floor and blocking access to the shower, and there being active cats…
Got Oasis Springs which is actually a good match for me. I can enjoy snow a little but definitely don't miss it when it's gone, and I like how the lots feel more spread out. Wish there was the option to answer "none of the above" for the questions, I'd avoid celebrities because I don't think I could stand to be around that…
I don't even try to display the whole collections but just selected items, usually the last item that completed the collection but sometimes the ones I find the most appealing.
I like seeing more of its contents at a glance. Wish a forth option had been included in the voting, the non-rendered fully drawn covers of the latest kits (ex Carnival Street Wear), they are far less appealing to me than the mentioned three and look low effort. Hoping to raise enough stink to prevent that style from…
One of my favorite vampires is a top ranked oracle in the criminal career, other vampires are often free lancers who work in their homes during daylight. In addition to what everyone else has suggested I'd like to see more reaction from other sims when they see a vampire doing bad things. If a vampire drained someone and…
Add to the list: - Shells from Sulani (Island Living) - Treasures from Sulani - Treasures from Selvadorada (Jungle Adventure) - Artifacts from Selvadorada - Relics from Selvadorada - Collected aliens - Collected space rocks (except the one that's too big to put on the table)
