For what it's worth, I'm only two hours ahead of EA Local Time (Pacific), and am well within US zones. I NEVER get the packs on day-of anymore. One time I waited two days and still couldn't get past the "Whoops, something's wrong" notice. I learned to pre-order when I can, but often I can't even do that. It's 7:25 pm local…
[quote="SimsLovinLycan;c-17431591Adobe, knowing that they had a near total monopoly on the creative software market, moved all of their products to an anti-consumer subscription model some time ago. Creative professionals groaned and paid up, as did students studying to be creative professionals, but they lost much of…
Actually, that's pretty much how it is on a real sound stage. One week it's got the office of an evil overlord, and the next week you're looking at a cabin in the woods. These sound stages are okay, but the corners should be darker. And there should be catwalks overhead.
There are twenty wands; ten are recolors. I have the two you're talking about, but had to win them in duels with the most powerful spellcasters. Those take awhile, but the ten recolors don't seem to come at all.
This Sim has a basement with all the stuff in it. Every collectible, on shelves or tables, or hanging on the walls. The game thinks she's completed the collection, but she hasn't actually. The silhouettes of the ten recolors are all empty, and she doesn't have the wands to display.
Yeah, it's the wand recolors. My collector is a top-ranked witch and a master dueller, wins every time, and goes to the shop every day, but she's got about a hundred wands and none of them are recolors. Also, the game thinks she's completed the magic artifacts collection. This is making my OCD scream. This Sim has every…
Far better to fix the genetics in TS4 to be like TS2, with a dominance system rather than simple randomization. But, having said that, if you do reboot TS2, make sure it's playable on Win10. I had to stop playing it because it crashes horribly on anything newer than XP.
I'm thrilled to have RoM even though it's very much like Vampires. Since the beginning of 4 I've had a Sim who is the Wise Woman. She keeps all the perfect plants, has all the collectibles, knows all the herbalism stuff, dresses like a hippie, and is immortal via the Potion of Youth. Now she's a Spellcaster Adept…
My son gave me Sims 1 for Christmas in 2001. The first time I played it, I opened the Goth family. Cassandra came home from school, peed on the floor, then died, screaming, in a stove fire. My husband was listening, and went, "What in the world are you doing?" I played Sims 1 until Sims 2 came out, and was enchanted by the…
More reasonable colors for clothing, furniture, etc., please. Too many items are unusable because they only come in raw, clown-colors and annoying color combinations. Also, some clothing that isn't skin tight. Bulky jackets, flowing sleeves, baggy pants that aren't all pockets. Enough with the cropped jeans and structured…
Relax. Nobody glows. But in the Deviance aspiration, to complete it the Sim must witness the death of another Sim. That was way hard to figure out. At first I used a cow plant, but have since acquired a CC death ray.
I plan on researching holidays for different cultures. Some of my families are Asian, some Indian, Middle Eastern, Hispanic, Jewish, etc., and I hope to be able to let everyone celebrate their own holidays. Fingers crossed for much custom content. Maybe stuff packs? I would buy a different stuff pack for each culture if…
If making our own holidays is what it appears to be, I think it's a brilliant way to allow each player to create the sort of world desired. Which, I think, is what the game is for. It appears I can have religious holidays without interfering with the non-religious player's desire to not have them. Thank you.
Terra; Re: Your signature, problems with death. I built a graveyard that works fine. I made it a park venue, then buried in a basement with no stairs all the park stuff I didn't want showing. There's a mausoleum with a movie screen against the outer wall, where a film club comes to watch movies. Family plots, a dark and…
