The playful moodlet can be dangerous. I’ve lost 2 sims the exact same way you did. They became hysterical and before they could calm down at the mirror the grim reaper appeared. Now anytime I get a playful moodlet I watch what other moodlets it’s combined with. If there are too many happy ones I immediately try to get rid…
I’m a rotational player with like 40 sims in this generation so it’s driving me crazy. Even worse when you go to a community lot cuz it’s constantly going all over the place. I tried getting some sims married and it was a nightmare
BHAAAAA…. Glad I’m not the only one! I even start a new notebook with each generation and have sim specific information like traits and things so I have record after they’re long gone.
This exactly. All of the happy moodlets stack up so quickly that its instant hysteria. Unfortunately, she was home alone so no one could plead with the grim reaper. Is there a cheat to stop it without mods? I tried to reset her but that just caused instant death before Grim could even finish taking her.
The crazy thing is I didn't do anything to make her happy. I make sure they eat, sleep and use the bathroom but other than that I let them do what they want because I like watching the crazy things they'll do on their own. I hate the idea that I have to make my sims miserable, intentionally, to keep them from dying
This is exactly what happened both times. They bypassed very playful and became hysterical after putting on warm laundry so I sent them to calm down. My sim last night was in the middle of calming down with the mirror when she just stopped and croaked
One thing I have noticed, if I vacuum an area twice it seems to stay clean a little longer. So if I have 2 sims I’ll have both of them vacuum each floor
Does anyone know if we can repair the game in EA Desktop? I've been looking around it and can't find where we can do this. I usually still use Origin but have been trying EA desktop lately.
Just turned 42 and I’ve also been playing since the original sims came out and I was in my early 20s. I’ve played every iteration of them and will continue to play them even when I’m older and wrinklier
I play between a laptop and a desktop and I use Dropbox. I copy my saves folder into that when I’m moving to the other computer then just copy and paste it into the right place on the other computer. I’ve been doing this for about 4 years and it’s worked well for me
I played for years without mods and cc and have never minded. I still had fun even with the bugs. EL convinced me to try MCC but I've since taken it back out. I just really don't feel like i personally need mods & cc in my game
ROM was one of the only packs I didn't have. After seeing it at 50% of last night I decided to pick it up. Can't beat $10! I haven't had a chance to check it out but I figure for $10 it's worth it for the cas & bb objects if nothing else
Top 5: Parenthood - by far my favorite Seasons - Outdoor Retreat - my sims always go camping Laundry day - call me crazy but I love the touch of realism it give my game City living Bottom 5: Vampires - by far my least favorite Dine out - too buggy and it takes all night to eat a small meal Get to Work - they get too…
I'm really getting tired of this NAP. It seems to be active in every single neighborhood and is making me not take my sims to community lots. NPCs steal things like barstools at a bar so it's not a complete lot anymore. Every time I go to the lot I have to go in and buy a barstool so the bartender will come. It's getting…
