I think both games probably have their strong and weak points. I suggest that you don't buy Sims 4 while expecting it to be exactly like Sims 3 or Sims 2... or even the original. I mean, you wouldn't buy an elephant and expect it to fetch your slippers and newspaper or sit on your lap and purr while you pet it.
I chose JennaDaCapo because it's a sort of alias I came up with. Often, I go by Sanjouin-Dacapo or something of the sort. Sanjouin is the surname of Nephrite's (from Sailor Moon) human alias, while DaCapo is one of my favourite DDR Supernova songs. My avatar is from a screenshot of Nephrite dressed as Tuxedo Mask. I…
@charlotteprice I hope it does hold all of them - a lot of it is mountains because distant terrain is a pain in the neck. I kinda put it on hold for a bit due to becoming addicted to FreeCol (a freeware version of Colonization) and attempting to make my own um... nectar. I love keeping grape juice out and letting it fizz…
It is hard work to make all the necessary buildings, but with decor in my world, right now I'm sticking to mostly plant life and rocks. Might add an island with the obligatory lighthouse sometime though. Edit: By the way, @maria_loves_alex did you use more than eight textures per chunk? View chunk boundaries and if one…
Hope you own the store soon, @maria_loves_alex I am working on my (hopefully) first successful CAW creation, @charlotteprice - dunno if it'll be for everyone, but I want it to be big and roomy, and able to hold all store venues. I also want to upload it empty so others can customize it to their liking. The problem I have…
Can't decide yet. I'm planning on placing them all in a custom world I'm creating. I do love their premium content though, like that glass blowing and metal smelting machine. That is so awesome! And the ice cream maker and deep-fryer are cool too!
There are a lot of very useful tutorials that can help you. It took me awhile to get the hang of Create A World too, especially with bridges. When building bridges and roads, and placing lots, turning the grid on is a must, as well as having objects snap to grid. For example, when building bridges, you have to build the…
Well, start complaining to them more. Maybe out-complain the teeny-boppers. And don't forget - EA once portrayed OSHA as the enemy, and that was in their first game: Hard Hat Mack. Maybe tell them that you're not gonna buy the game for your teeny-bopper kids unless things change. Keep bugging them for a Sims 4 Create A…
Sims 4's engine is very new, and really, I think they should have first made more EPs and SPs for Sims 3. However, for all those who talk about EA's laziness... what would you expect from a company whose first game painted OSHA as the bad guy?
