My point was that they can program it in. Not what they can or can't do at the moment. Sadly, just one more feature removed/ not added to TS4.

Seems to me they only need come up the elevator or stairs to get to apartment to put out fire. They need no roads, they simply appear outside the elevator or stairs to do their business.

It is sad. I shouldn't have said "what was I thinking" I should have said "what was EA thinking". This is just ridiculous and feels like a shell of a game. WTH? Why did I just give the franchise another $60.00 for expansions when something as basic as a fire dept isn't available? What was I thinking. Game has been out for far too many years to not have fire fighters, police or burglars. A total waste of money on my part. I was hoping for so much more with the expansions.

I've tried both "on" and adaptive. I recently tried setting things globally to force vsync on and in TS3 I'm still getting over 150 fps. Is there something I have to set in the game options to make it work? I did update to the latest Nvidia drivers for W10, 355.82 but that didn't change anything.

Hi Amiutza, Yes I did make the changes that you instructed. I'm guessing that it's something beyond the graphics since I can get anywhere from 28 fps to over 300 fps. Apparently it matters little that the card is recognized as I'm getting over 300 frames per second but the stutter remains when on anything other than paused. Normal speed or not it stutters. Just plain sad that I spent all the money that I spent on this franchise to find that I can't play it on newer hardware.

Update: I found the simwiki that has instructions on how to add your card / get your card recognized but I'm not wholly convinced that I even did it right as it is not performing any better at all.

I can tell you exactly what I get. When I had a traditional HDD and TS3 and all expansions installed it took exactly 2 minutes and 38 seconds to load up the game. Only if you don't consider the hundreds of dollars that people will spend on all the expansion packs, stuff packs and store items that they will inevitably purchase over the next couple years for TS4.
