@brizgal I'll try raising the walls before I plant next time. The issue I had a couple of years ago was they would not germinate indoors. I had to move the planter outside in order to actually plant the tree. once it had started growing I moved it indoors. Now that I am really thinking about it, I did have to raise the…
Yes, we've seen a lot of the big items, but for me, the special details are a big part of what I love about the Sims. For one thing, we haven't seen all of the world yet. Didn't I see mention of a Sacred Prayer Circle, as well as other items relating to Native Americans? I am eager to see these items, which weren't shown…
@PenguinFoop I am very glad that you accepted the crazy that was happening and went with it! That is the mark of a true (simwatcher)author, letting your (sims)characters take over and just be themselves. It can be a wild, exhilarating ride. Your story has taken an exciting turn, I love it!
I am delighted by what I've seen so far for this pack. Admittedly I am biased, but judging from our other GP's if this had been a GP it would have been a small 5 or 6 lot world, horses, some CAS and BB, and that's it. This one also has ridiculously adorable mini goats and sheep, nectar, gathering prairie grass and (from…
I really hope the goats and sheep can wander a bit. If they can I will have them scattered around all over the place. I wonder if the foxes, cats, and dogs will interact with the goats, sheep and horses. I wonder if werewolves will annoy horses or the minis. I hope we can have horses in other worlds - it would be so…
Oh, no, that goat is an adorable menace! I'm so excited I am having trouble expressing myself. I just keep saying OMG OMG. This is just...oh man. I may love the darned sheep and goats more than the horses! How is that possible? Too adorable!
I saw a real difference when I got Seasons, otherwise I don't know. At this point, my computer can't handle more than 6 people on a lot (5 is better), and the biggest lots start giving me trouble after playing on them for a while. The worst house for me is the Watson house in Cottage Living. I no sooner load that house…
That tiny sheep is the most adorable thing I've seen in ages. Now I want a dang sheep and probably a goat, too, as well as a couple of horses. I wonder if the sheep and goats will be locked to a building and a small space, like the cows and llamas. I'd love it if they could wander a bit, like the chickens and rabbits.
@Lenny_Ogg I didn't know you could splice trees with smaller plants! @crocobaura I tend to go big when my sims have a hobby. My brain says "why have 1 plant when you can have 20 instead and get rich quicker?" I'll make Sammy do some experimenting with splicing as he levels up as a gardener. It's winter now but once it's…
I had one sim in a 15x20 lot and there was just no room for a garden. I planted some things straight into the ground along the side of the house but decided to build a greenhouse on the second floor so I could have income during all seasons. I put planters in and started my garden upstairs. Most plants will work indoors,…
It's been a while since I played that scenario, but yes, you can put cash in the vault and you can keep adding more. I was wrong about where it came from, the vault is from Get Famous. Once you put money in you'll see a pile of cash in it, and a sim can dive in and roll around in it like Scrooge McDuck. I think they can…
You have a great beginning there @PenguinFoop. I've not tried that scenario with a teen yet. I've played it twice so far, but with Young adult or adult sims. I played once with a Kleptomaniac sim. She slowly got more and more expensive items. I cheated heavily in this game because I got bored. I wish I had thought to have…
Thanks, @PenguinFoop. I know it isn't the same, but I was getting so impatient. I've been gearing myself up to trying out the new babies, I didn't realize you can't make a baby in CAS, all you can start with is infants (or maybe I'm wrong, I'm still trying to get used to the new life stage, not having played Sim offspring…
I now own every Sims 4 pack :# - I just got BTD, which was my one hold-out. Other Sims games...I own but no longer play these Sims Castaway (fabulous) Sims Medieval (fabulous but you can't build darn it) Sims Pet Stories All (or nearly all) Sims 2 All Sims 1 SimCity 2000 (still love it - I first got it for my Nintendo!)…
I can't stop thinking about it. A Western themed horse pack sounds so awesome. I grew up watching Westerns so this would be so my thing. To bad we couldn't have sixguns and shootouts...oh well. Cowboys....only thing better would have been medieval knights on chargers... oh, dear, I have to stop thinking about it before I…
We used to have a dog named G y p s y. It's a pretty word; I like the sound of it. Yes we knew about the people it represented but we did not use the name in a derogatory fashion. She was spritely, beautiful, and confident, and we felt it suited her perfectly. I only recently discovered I shouldn't use that word anymore…
I recently started trying to get a male sim abducted so he could have an alien baby. He's been snatched three or four times so far, but no pregnancy. After reading this thread I realized it might not happen for a while-if ever. So I created a female alien and dropped her and her two offspring into the household, which held…
