  • The heart cut is better for gems you are going to sell right away, but with tiberium, regardless of the cut, you can get much, much more if you set it outside, where it will grow into a large spire cut, which will be worth between $40,000 to $80,000. You can get even more by consigning it.
  • Not only will they keep their money, but they will also keep their household and personal inventory items.
  • @ts1depot It's a matter of preference. I prefer to keep every pre-made sim and take away their occult form. I tend to make changes to pretty much any world I play in anyway, so I make a starter saves for each world I play in. So it's once and done, rather than going through the same thing every time I want to play in that…
  • If you have Supernatural, when you send sims to university, several of the pre-made sims are supernaturals, who are normal humans if you don't have LN. If you are willing to use mods, there are ways to prevent any kind of supernatural beings being spawned anywhere, but in Bridgeport and Moonlight Falls, residents were…
  • OK, so maybe I'm wrong about that. I thought my long-ago sim went into the utopian future, that all the plants on her home lot were pink and blue, and they were the same ones that were there in the normal and dystopian future. But I notice in your pictures there are also green plants, and I don't remember ever seeing that…
  • @Karritz Those are beautiful pictures. The colors in the utopian future are overlays, like the snow in the winter, so every living plant changes, regardless of where they came from. Except, maybe garden plants wouldn't. I don't know about that, because I've never had a sim garden in the utopian or dystopian future, only…
  • Currently, only the sculptor is in OL. Before sending her home, I decided to save, send her to register as a self-employed bot builder, then send her back to the present. When she arrived back home, she still was in the bot building career. So I quit without saving and reopened the save from before she registered. I guess…
  • @Karritz I'm not having them live in Oasis Landing just so they can do those careers. I tend to send my sims to vacation worlds or OL to get a break from whatever they're doing in their homeworld, and especially to have some time away from their entire household, where things can get a little overwhelming (or sometimes a…
  • @Damienf519 There are certain store items I like to have in all worlds I play in. I have an archery range, a small bakery, a simple greenhouse, and a small dance studio I want in all of my worlds. In my current project, I want to keep the community lots small, so I used the smallest City Hall I have, which came from a…
  • I hate it when a dog or cat won't stop some action, such as running around, even though their needs are going into the red, or when they go to sleep when their hunger or bladder needs are lower than their energy, and don't wake up even when those needs are in the red. When my sims travel to a vacation world or university,…
  • I am now playing Sims 3 exclusively on my laptop, and have just started working in CAW on it as well. I've generated a game folder just for CAW, with no store content, because I couldn't use EIG at all, right from the start of the project, with no lots installed. I read in an older thread that the amount of store content…
  • No. Apparently, nobody who knows what to do has seen this. Maybe the only way to fix it is to uninstall and reinstall. Eventually, I'll try that, but I don't have time for that right now.
  • I finished all the lots for my new world, now I'm finally in CAW, working on placing the lots. This is not exactly an in-game screenshot, as CAW doesn't allow them. I used Print Screen to get it.
  • Households saved to the library do also keep their household inventory.
  • I decided to use Annie's house for the world I'm working on, but I wanted to make it usable for a growing family. So I enlarged it just a little and made three bedrooms on the upper floor, instead of only two. This is the last screenshot I took of it.
  • @Turjan Thank you.
  • I'm not seeing any pictures, just very long lines of text.
  • It's not safe to delete them, but you can annihilate them with NRaas Master Controller. That will remove the sim, and their data that is programmed into the world.
  • Thank you.
  • @emorrill Is that mod that eliminates the toe tapping the same one that eliminates the tantrum sims throw when something blocks them from what they were going to do? If so, do you know the name of it and where I can find it?
  • The rabbitholes for LL are supposed to be portals that lead to an underground network where the businesses are located. Of course, there are no actual tunnels or underground buildings. The portals are all identical and take up only a 9x9 space.
  • I'm sure that would help. The main thing you have to do to get an epic party is to make sure there are plenty of things for the guests to do. A video game console would help. Sims can play together on those. You could even have one of your active sims sit down and invite guests to play with him, then get up and get another…
  • I don't let burglars get inside either. One thing I've learned, is if I'm playing with a completely fenced yard/horse pasture, that is only accessible through the house, and the burglar spawns inside the gate, he/she will go into the house through the back door, walk through and go outside the front door without touching…
  • The store venues already are designated by lot types. You can give the empty lot any community lot designation you want, and as soon as you place the store lot, it will change it to the correct type. The Skylight Studio is designated as a gym, and if you want, you can remove whatever gym is already in the world you're…
  • I always use those too.
  • I've been working on community lots for my CAW project. The last one I made today is going to be a base camp. I made it with the log cabin blueprints. Here's the last picture I took of it. And the full front view
  • It's so good to have Annie and Charlie back home again.
  • Returning home from University
  • @MadDoctor61 I don't think answering no would have split up the children playing at the park, but answering yes might have. They always ask to come over, which I've always assumed meant they would come to my sims' house, even when my sims weren't there. If my assumption is correct, saying yes would mean the child would…
