  • Usually my infants only get the crawling milestone on the last day and I don't have time to explore what extra things they can do. So imagine my surprise when my infant jumped into the air, changed her clothes, crawled out the backdoor, down from the foundation, and into the backyard! She can also now watch TV.
  • My main sim married a slob, so I made her do all the cleaning around the house to get the personality swap for neat - which she did after weeks of making her tense with all the cleaning she was doing. Problem is that she still farts and belches on a regular ocasion. But now that she is neat, she gets the uncomfortable…
  • I wish I took a screenshot, just got the option to “apologise … in bed?” (I don’t remember him catching her with another boyfriend but he does have a furious about cheating sentiment) Needless to say it did not work and he’s even more unhappy with her now!
  • I’ve been noticing eggs disappearing for a while now, but I know mine is because they “spoil” and if you’re not watching your sims closely, they’ll throw the hatching egg away when cleaning the coop.
  • I haven't had it occur in Chestnut Ridge yet (cross fingers/touch wood), but every other save the dirt pile is a constant nightmare. Not only that, but they sometimes get stuck and I have to put them into my household inventory and drag them out again for the plants to start growing/producing. When my sims make their…
  • I’ve won twice and the first time it completely ruined my struggling artist story. He had just enough simoleons to paint a picture to sell for his next meal then all of a sudden he is a millionaire!
  • I get an invisible nanny often and rarely hire them because once they are invisible life is difficult and they won’t leave the lot of their own accord. However a save and a quick jump out to main menu and back again usually works. I then fire that nanny so that if I need one again it will be a new, initially un-bugged…
  • I have the pack and can’t remember why I got it but I love the shoes, which is weird because I’m not a shoe person in IRL - much prefer to go barefoot. I hardly use anything in the pack except the female heels and the male boots. I might have used the windows once or twice, but those shoes end up on a LOT of my sims.
  • So thought I would try multiple infants (5 infants, 4 baby daddies, no mods, all born by end of second in-game week). Never again! I think my sim mama was more sane than I was at the end. Even on long life span I barely achieved in the gross motor, fine motor, and social milestones for all five. There were several calls to…
  • I don’t care about new kits, new makeup, new tattoos, new hair, new clothes, new food, new looks for townies … I just want my plants to stop reverting to piles of dirt. Is that too much to ask?
  • Definitely depth for me. I find myself playing the same game over and over because there isn’t enough depth in some packs to completely immerse yourself in a storyline - like in sims 3 you could live in a medieval town or on a pirate island or in a city filled with movie stars and rock stars. One of the (many) frustrating…
  • I've found that the daycare milestone only triggers if all the adults are at work. If you send them to daycare for any other reason it doesn't seem to count.
  • I finally have my greenhouse kit! I’m not a big kit buyer, but this one was right up my alley.
  • I am having the same problem with the Greenhouse Haven kit. There is a thread over on AHQ: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues-PC/Purchased-Sims-4-content-not-registering-as-owned/m-p/12495530/highlight/false#M250202
  • Did you know … some quirks are visible in the behaviour of newborns? I have noticed that newborns who need more feedings get the healthy appetite quirk. I noticed it first on my twins where one newborn needed three feeds to the other’s two - the one who had more feeds got healthy appetite almost immediately on aging up to…
  • Did you know … toddlers can steal finger foods from infants. My eldest just nicked his little sister’s banana slices!
  • Multiples was definitely NOT what I was going for when playing infants for the first time. I had a single sim and she wanted two kids (two single science babies) not four (a single and a set of triplets). My poor sim got no time to herself until they were potty trained toddlers and could look after themselves to an extent.
  • The preference for the playmat is annoying. I had one poor toddler with a very red energy bar, finally got mum to put him in the cot, dad picks him up and puts him on the play mat! Infant was understandably cranky.
  • Infants will watch the laundry go round and round in the washing machine. Cute but annoying when they’re supposed to be eating they’re oaty Os because they’re hungry LOL
  • Yes, my second science baby was triplets.
  • I don’t play rotationally in the sense that all my families don’t inhabit the same “universe”. They each have their own saves and I might bounce around between them depending on what story I feel like telling. But this way I know when I get around to them again, it will be exactly where I left off.
  • I've also hit me too ... I never had the problem with not using the sink next to the toilet until the latest patch (or the new EP, hard to know which one started it).
  • There is also First Nightmare
  • It was just random, like the clap and the wave and the raspberry.
  • Older siblings may like their younger siblings, but that doesn't mean they don't feel negative about them at times. My toddler just got a sad buff "Outshined (from watching sibling's milestone) That was it? Big deal, Daisy's been doing that for years!" Daisy was eating breakfast when her infant sister picked up finger food…
  • A lot of the social milestones there needs to be someone in close proximity. If they walk away, the milestone may get stuck until they come back to the infant.
  • It seems the time it takes to get to milestones depends on traits - my wiggly infant is speeding through her milestones at a much faster rate than her calm sister. She autonomously does tummy time now that she can roll over by herself.
  • My infant made it to 28, but I think there are even more than that because tummy time and practise standing were still available. In addition to those on the games radar list, I found learned to blow a kiss, first wave, first word, and played peek-a-boo (this means they play back, not just watch). (I didn’t get the first…
  • My infant just unlocked another milestone - blow kiss. It was sooooo cute, the little hand, fingers spread, and the little hearts flowing towards mama.
  • This is by far my favourite pack and I haven't gotten past infant stage yet! It fills in some of the toddler things from Sims 2 and Sims 3 that I felt were missing like teaching toddlers to talk and walk - I know we don't get that, but all the infant milestones mean that toddlers can already talk and walk so it doesn't…
