I have almost every pack and I have populated almost every area, all set on full AI and with 'Unlimited Sims' in the game (which I assume means NPCs). A lot is going on! I am not sure if it was after the last patch or after I installed Werewolves it began to happen. I don't have round walls. It sort of reminds me of…
No one has mentioned hens when it comes to fertilizers. Not only do golden hens (that a sim has asked for help) upgrade things, when you clean out the hen sheds you get free fertilizer.
What do you mean? They often revert to soil when Evolve is used, and always have. And that can even happen if a golden hen 'spells' them. If that's a bug it's never bothered me because they regrow when in season.
I have no idea what the gender options mean. What are they for? They seem to make no difference what gender you assign to them. I have come to the conclusion they are just for if you upload them. But one strange thing. When they become young adults, some females sound like males, no matter how you fiddle about in CAS.…
I always mainly play with the same family; I have lost count of their generations. I often move them to any new district. But very often the other lots are not populated, so, I create families to live in them. I am perhaps a control freak and don't like pre-created Sims.
It's a good concept, otherwise unplayed families simply become extinct. And seeing as I populate most houses myself with families or at least a couple (because the game does not even if you tell it to do so) I would find that a shame.
When I first got Sims 4 I was using an i3 PC with just 8GB RAM. I managed to load 3 expansions, each one making loading etc., run slower, until eventually it would often freeze, and in the end would not even Save. I stopped playing and uninstalled it. I now use a powerful i7 PC. Downloaded the game, added more expansions,…
Most bugs I see are easy to fix. Reload or debug (the latter via testingcheats on). I often wonder if some bugs that people see, ones that even ruin their game, are due to not updating their graphics card drivers? or even not having a powerful gaming PC? As to Sims wants that they get (xxx feels someone is controlling…
Even though I have ticked Populate houses, it does not. So, they are almost all empty unless I create people to place in them, and I always do. Almost everyone wandering around I have created, and even at times play as them. But, what I want to know is, where do the NPCs live? BTW. Do you mean by show up at school, in the…
I would assume it will be, and I hope it does have. Considering how old Sims 4 is now, it does have realistic graphics from the time of creation. I would like to see the graphics less 'painted' on rendering. More and deeper detail please. Oh, and at night, it to actually go dark! Ditto when the lights are off. As it is now…
The min specs are really only suitable for the base game. People with low end machines start to have trouble when they add more and more extras. And yes, the game and its add-ons are a ridiculous price.
It's not a sandbox game. Many build options for example have to be unlocked, as do skills. They have to be gained. People can play however they like to of course, but I still wonder why some ignore the generational aspect of the game? It's a main part. Sims age and die.
I cannot say as I have noticed. Perhaps it depends on their personality? Vamps and werewolves are definitely disliked if they keep going around biting people. The only ones who hate my magicians are paparazzies who they keep chucking spells at.
When I was using an i3 PC, years ago, the Sims 4 game eventually refused to Save. So I uninstalled it. Then I got an i7 PC and downloaded the game and additions again. Now it all works. But even when selecting the populate dwellings option, it does not. So in all the extensions I have moved my main family too, and all…
There are bugs in Sims 4, which they do attempt to patch (most games are also full of bugs) but what do you mean by "not completed"? and "... has less realism"? Graphics? Gameplay? What? And "trash files"? huh?
How interesting. I came here to post pretty much the same as the OP at the start of this thread. I note that some people say the Sims is a fantasy. Granted there are magicians, vampires, and werewolves, not to mention Star Wars, but when not acting as such they do act as humans. Even so, the Sims is a life simulation and…
The current problem with a lot of the jobs and even skills, is there's nowhere to go once max is reached. All the Go to Work jobs are quite basic and become pointless once they have reached the top level. The Doctor for example. Once fully skilled, they still have to do the same old tasks, it become boring and pointless…
Is the game not complex enough already? with Likes and Dislikes etc., not even meshing with previous software? If you are not sure what I mean. Regardless of what Likes and Dislikes are set, or pop up during actions (does X like XX yes or no) it does not seem to fully control what they do. They still only like to do the…
But how would it work? Would you have to sit watching what they do on their PCs and phones? There are already Chat options on the devices. Even send a text on the phones. But you cannot see a face of who they are chatting with. I guess the Chat options could be expanded to the same options they have when face to face. But…
From my experience with previous versions of the Sims many of the problems above can come from not having a powerful enough PC. Even with Sims 4, the more packs I added, the more laggy it got, until eventually it would not Save. That was mainly on upto i3 non-gaming machines. Now I use an i7 with a mid-range 4gb graphics…
Gosh, this is an old thread, but I cannot find how to create new ones. Anyway, we are up to Sims 4 and many extensions for it, but even now the game still does not realise when a swimming pool or garden is indoors, so still treats them as outdoors, and all that Winter brings them. Too cold! But even if a swimming pool is…
