Pleasantview mostly for it's size and of course lore. Veronaville aesthetically I really enjoy but it has almost no families living there and I really dislike decorating all the empty houses when I move sims in. Strangetown is great but I personally dislike aliens so it just isn't for me.
Sims 1 Pros: I think there is something really enchanting about the graphics. The Magic world is SO pretty! Cons: No aging Sims 2 Pros: Best game play in the series bar none Cons: Time freezes on the home lot when you travel to a community lot Sims 3 Pros: Open world/color wheel Cons: Ugly Sims Sims 4 Pros: Best CAS Cons:…
I'm just so glad we're finally getting options as life sim players. What I hope for most is deep interactions, consequence and drama. I think the issue with Sims 4, or at least one of the issues is that it is watered down and childish which hasn't really changed even with the expansions and updates. So my hopes for Rene…
Something like this would be really cool but I'm almost sure it'd never happen. Sims 4 is too much of a utopia so nothing bad ever happens. I guess that's fun game play for some people but it's massively boring to me.
For those of you expecting anything less than goofy/cute content.. why? What about this iteration in the series would lead you to believe that will happen? Sims 4 seems to cater to children and preteens now.
I would love fears! Also the chemistry system that Sims 2 had. It actually made finding a relationship more of a challenge and much more meaningful when you achieved it!
Nope. Base game changes would have already happened by now. I think it's safe to say the Sims 4 is just going to continue being an empty shallow game until it's no longer supported. In other words, if you don't like Sims 4 now, you probably won't like it in 3 years either.
I absolutely think Sims 2 got divorce right on the nose. It DOES affect the entire family, not just the spouses. Far as I can tell there is little to no reaction at all in Sims 4. Mine just do a goofy smile because they're next to a painting or go to autonomously hug their spouse who just dumped them. Means nothing in Sims…
I notice this as well, and it's one of the many reasons I stopped playing the Sims 4. It's clearly geared towards the young adult life stage. No other life stage other than toddlers, thanks to Parenthood, have any real significance.
Sims themselves in 4 are all carbon copies of one another with no defining traits or personality. Or at least nothing that noticeable. Played Sims 2 a few days ago and even without traits they actually all had unique likes/dislikes and interests. It made each Sim stand out. Don't hold your breath though for an update, if…
No because I don't plan on buying more Sims 4 content. BUT! If I did of course I'd miss it, I loved reading the booklets that would come in Sims 2 expansions on the way home from the store!
Pets and weather should be base game absolutely. I don't care how profitable it is as an expansion, Sims 5 developers will really need to up their creativity and come out with NEW ideas. Because I am tired of being offered the same expansions nearly every iteration.
Unless they plan on updating the personalities and traits of the Sims themselves, I don't care honestly. For those who continue playing the game I'm hoping you get a lot of bug fixes though.
T was good enough for 2 and 3 and those games were full of a lot of cool scenarios. Sims 4 doesn't really seem to take full advantage of the T rating I believe.
I think Sims 4 is boring and dull. None of the sims seem to have any distinct personality regardless of the traits you give them. They also do not seem to be in a hurry to fix that either as it would be a large base game patch and probably would have happened by now. Another issue I have is that there is literally nothing…
Frankly I don't think they listen to the more important issues at all. Either they can't technically do anything about them or they're just swept under the rug.
Nope. We do not need another lifestate in the Sims. Too many other major issues need to be worked on before wasting time with something in between young adult and adult..
