  • CL isn't really appealing to me right now if apartments work the way I think they do, but the possibility for earthquakes (this is a thing right?) and roaches may change my mind. But otherwise, I'm in the same boat! Recently I've been setting up my town so that when a relationship culling and decay fix (and eventually…
  • I do think that Get Together was pretty small but mostly because clubs were useless for me. I regret buying it, not enough content in a pack for me. I'm not sure how apartments work in city living but if they're like TS3, I dont think I'll bother getting this pack.
  • Gosh, i agree. It's awful when discussions get heated and people have to be dramatic. I think it's time to move on (or, actually in your case, to move back) and return to your beloved General Discussion section. ;)
  • I'm in the exact same boat. What pushed me towards saying "no" was more of a money factor since I'm a university student and money is tight. I was still hoping that I could get into TS4. City Life sparked some hope but I think they're headed the shell/apartment route which is something I and many other players hated in…
  • That's very cool and all but for some people, the sims may be all they have. It's not necessarily a cheap game to buy off the bat. I know I won't be getting anything for a while so for right now, I try to enjoy TS3 and TS4 because it's all I can afford, although TS4 is proving to be difficult to love. I think that's what…
  • I hope the gurus do something about this flame bait mess of a thread.
  • Oh yeah I see what you're saying. The only review that made me want to buy a pack was his Dine Out review. I initially liked it a lot but I got my hopes up too quickly because soon after all the bugs came that were still not addressed in the latest patch.
  • I really take his review into account before buying but that could be said about any reviewer?
  • Like another simmer said, the "all expenses paid" part is where things become hairy. That's why he specifically said that he'd try going if he could pay for things himself, not EA. Which he can, because he's invited now.
  • This. @TheSimer although you were trying to make a point of this, you can literally watch his videos of TS3 stuff packs and see how critical he was of them and of prices of things in general during TS3. You can post as many of his tweets as you want, this isn't new.
  • I really can't believe I read with my own eyes on another thread that he's a hateful basher and is seen as a savior among fans. What kind of a reach...
  • Nobody hangs on to his every word and thinks he's a "savior." He almost always gives the good and the bad when he reviews GP's, SP's, and EP's. He's like any other reviewer except he'll also focus on the bad if there is some- which, because TS4 isn't perfect, there will be. If anyone that says anything bad about the game…
  • I'm glad for all the effort he puts in being objective. He the only one I've followed since TS3
  • I wish you'd get comped meal when your sim is on their 8th hour at the restaurant. But then every meal would be free
  • You can miss something from a previous game and still want it in the current game.
  • Toddlers CASt Open world The subway system from LN (although it definitely needs some work) Cabs Toddlers
  • It's in speculation and rumors so if this thread had to be anywhere, it's in the right place. Why click on another thread when it tells you exactly what it is in the title? To complain that speculation and rumor threads are in speculation and rumor instead of general discussion?? Anyways, the most compelling evidence is…
  • I'm personally struggling with the game but where did you hear it was more adult? If anything, it's the most childish in the entire series. That one show with the dancing tubby things and televisions in their stomach are more adult than this game is right now. ETA: Teletubbies is what I was thinking about. And TS4 has a…
  • A new life state in each EP was a great tradition. It might've been a bad trend you, but it was a great one for me and many others. The TS2 life states were some of the more amazing and detailed ones added to the game. I'm really disappointed TS4 stopped adding in life states. And not surprisingly, disappointed with about…
  • Yes, especially if it's a baggier pant and your sim is on the skinnier side, it makes them look like they have huge baseballs for knees. I don't have any screenshots rn but I'll try to get some.
  • I'm really looking forward to this because male pants on females look very wrong in the knee area.
  • I do like the occasional good-looking sims but I tend to make more "humble" looking sims for family play. Most of my sims are also tend to be different ethnicities/non-white sims, which I don't see as much on CC sites, but I guess that's why I don't use CC.
  • There's a lot of talk about statistics but in a game where you can talk to a cow-plant hybrid, I don't see why this would matter. And I also don't see why more content couldn't be added to other stages along with YA, not just YA (with the exception of the 1 and only kids pack. If you have to ask, no, that's not enough.)…
  • My sims 3 game didn't take long to load but waiting for 1/2 loading screens rather than one for every lot is a lot better, for me at least. I rarely leave my sim's house in TS4, especially if i have a family.
  • @boyinflorida21 I agree with this so much. I hope they don't use other cultures just as a "gimmick" in this pack to make it "quirky." Actually I won't hope at all, I don't want to be disappointed.
  • I hope they can do it better than the GTW active careers.
  • There used to be a lot of those. Videos showing huge open worlds and people jogging, cars, massive beaches, apartment complexes etc. It's all fake
