  • That's the same excuse we've been hearing for almost a year now and I'm yet to see anything about this "new" engine that is so impressive, open worlds and more realistic graphics had to be sacrificed.
  • I'm still not seeing the game pack on Origin, so I'll purchase it in-game, then.
  • No offense, but calling that a review is rather misleading. I was expecting a few paragraphs discussing the game pack, what it includes, etc. Not just a perfect rating without any information to supplement and some screenshots that don't really add any kind of weight to the perfect score. :|
  • Try here: http://mysims4blog.blogspot.com/ There doesn't seem to be a single piece of CC that isn't posted on My Sims 4 Blog. You can refine your search as well, so hopefully you can find it!
  • @ByondTime89 thanks! I'll give it a go.
  • Went to the theatre to see Poltergeist this past Friday. It was pretty good, but I didn't find it scary at all. I did see a trailer for an upcoming film called The Gallows that has absolutely caught my attention. Looking forward to seeing it.
  • Does anyone know of any websites that host custom or redesigned neighborhoods? For example, a save game file that has Willow Creek with custom-built or redesigned lots?
  • It's only been four months, with an expansion and stuff pack in between. How do you determine a second game pack is overdue?
  • I doubt that; even though Stuff Packs aren't that much of a big deal, I can't see the second one coming so soon. Especially considering that if history is any indicator, we'll hear about the next expansion or game pack first.
  • It's a chocolate fountain, just with odd textures. Someone else mentioned it. Not exactly the most effective way of sharing a concern (English might not be their first language) but you aren't the only person to notice. http://forums.thesims.com/en_US/discussion/834671/chaclote-fountain-texture#latest
  • Oh, this list is simply wonderful. I've never downloaded so much custom content all at once. Thank you, so very much!
  • Really? That's so odd. I would assume it wouldn't matter since debit cards can be charged as either debit or credit, since they're issued as Visa, MasterCard, Discover, etc. Canada needs to get with it, then! Or at least, Origin needs to accept additional forms of payment.
  • That's one thing I hate about online purchasing; they have no issue with taking your money immediately, but it takes anywhere between 7 to 14 days to be refunded. I've always received refunds swiftly, but the idea of it potentially taking that long is just nonsensical and absurd.
  • Not to mention that the "reviews" aren't even reviews. The second one just gave the SP one star and a frown face. That doesn't help anyone at all.
  • No offense, but while I can empathize with the difficulty some people face with limited options, more adults play The Sims than not and as such, are able to access [digital] copies with ease. The whole world isn't going to stop because a small percentage of Sims gamers that are under 18 can't purchase additional content on…
  • Hmm, well that's odd that it didn't show up as quickly for you. Luxury Party Stuff is listed now on Amazon, two days after release. Just like Outdoor Retreat and Get to Work showed up, like I said, around the day after or two days after release, for me anyway. Maybe I just got lucky.
  • Um...a flight to Mexico from the UK is £750. Why would anyone go through all that just to save £3.59? You end up spending more money!

  • Nothing to do with inappropriate content; The Sims 4 has an ESRB rating of T for Teen/13+ so I would assume that the age gate is for anyone under 13.
  • Very true, indeed, and that's been a factor since day one. I mean, you do get a nice amount of items for $10 and if you want to do the math, the items average individually at less than $1 a piece; breaking down a full price into smaller segments for comparison reasons tend to help some people better justify their spending.…

  • Just because they can afford to do it, doesn't mean they are obligated to. Digital is simply easier and it saves money on all fronts. EA isn't going to make outgoing costs to produce physical copies for the small percentage of people who want them when they can prevent any and all outgoing cost where The Sims are concerned…
  • Could just be restrictions on the type. Like how some retail stores don't accept Discover, for example, maybe there's some factor in your bank card that Origin doesn't accept, but other retailers do. You could always transfer the balance to PayPal and pay that way, I believe, or wait until Amazon lists Luxury Party Stuff…
  • That's not true; I purchased Outdoor Retreat via Amazon a day or two after release. I only happened to do so because I forgot about Outdoor Retreat's release date and had an Amazon gift card to use. It seems that when it comes to expansion packs, they're put up as soon as they're announced. Game packs and stuff packs…
  • It has nothing to do with laziness; digital saves money. With physical copies, there's the cost of production; putting the content on hundreds of thousands (if not more) discs, putting them inside hundreds of thousands of plastic cases (not to mention the manufacturing of the cases themselves), designing and printing…
  • Well, it depends on your preference and what your expectations are. Outdoor Retreat was a great little game pack that added a nice camping theme to the game. There were still missed opportunities for more out of it, but it was decent for what it was. Luxury Stuff is, well...luxury stuff. It adds luxury themed content and…

  • There's actually a mod to immediately kill any Sims on the same lot. Just enter the code, type in the name and hit enter. Not sure if you would want to "kill" them permanently or just get them out of your house. Alien or not, they shouldn't be just walking into your house without you inviting them in first.
  • Instead of utilizing the newly implemented hospital. What a stupid choice, to allow us to go to the hospital when a Sim is a doctor but not when a Sim is sick. I'm still shaking my head at their lack of logic.

  • Well, that would depend on whom you ask. A lot of my friends were breaking their necks for an expansion pack because they were bored with TS4 after a few months. Lord knows I was growing bored for awhile and it's only a matter of time before I get bored with TS4 and GTW. Fortunately, I still have TS1 and TS2 installed with…
  • For me, there are many more cons than there are pros to this expansion pack. I honestly feel as though I could have done without it, saved $40, and just played TS2 Open for Business along with the other expansions I have for it.
  • http://modthesims.info/d/534853 That's the only one available that will directly kill any Sim of your choice, just as long as you're on the same lot as them. I use it myself; it works perfectly and is quite useful. I killed Dennis Kim at the Blue Velvet lounge for being mean to my Sim.
