I haven't really included many events or holidays in my stories yet. I think that if I include any kind of holidays it'd be in Fame Masquerade because that one's the most based in reality. In something I'm writing as a personal project, all of the locations are loosely based on and named after places I've been. :)
Hey, sorry I haven't been around too much lately! I've been really busy and have also had a little case of writer's block. I'll think of some questions to ask soon. :)
@simscognito @Shadami There are definitely a lot of questions raised in this chapter! Hopefully I'll remember to address them all later down the line. Feel free to remind me if it seems like I've forgotten! @flutegirl_132 Thank you so much for reading! I'm having a lot of fun writing this story as it's much less…
It's been a little while, but I've finally finished Chapter Three: Unnatural Emptiness! It's Squid's turn to play narrator, and he gets an unexpected surprise.
I get that way sometimes. A lot of the time it helps to take a break from it, or sometimes trying to think of alternative plots/future plots can spark inspiration. Personally, most of the time I just push through even if it's not my best work and fix it up or rewrite it later. It's really a matter of what works best for…
I'm with @CathyTea in preferring to just have one blog, but it's definitely a matter of personal preference. Having multiple blogs is probably a little more work to organize and update, but it can probably feel more neat and tidy for some to have everything separate. :) It just depends on what you think you'd like better.
Hey everybody! How are you all doing this [insert time of day here]? I've been busy with a lot of stuff lately, but I've finally gotten the chance to sit down and do some more writing. :) I'm hoping to have the next chapter of Moon Logic up sometime today or tomorrow.
I was just about to say that hasn't happened to me, but I just remembered that it kind of has! I have a couple of characters who I intended to just be friends initially, but then decided it made sense for there to be something more to their relationship. Although I decided on that before one of them was even introduced, so…
As a whole, describe your feelings on the overall story. What did you like or dislike about it? I'm really enjoying it so far! I like the setting and the plot is very intriguing. I always leave a chapter feeling like I've learned more, but never quite enough. Not in a way that's unsatisfying, though! It keeps me coming…
Hey there! Sorry for being inactive for a little bit there. Real life stuff has gotten kind of hectic again. :) I'm going to try and get caught up on everyone's stories by tomorrow.
Personally, I'd say this one, but only because I'm not a big horror fan. If you prefer horror to drama (which this sounds like it might be more of) I'd say you should go with the other one. It all depends on which one seems more fun and interesting to you.
I just realized I accidentally named one of my characters the same name as an already existing sim! :weary: I don't know what I should do about it! Should I change my character's name to something else or do you think it's okay to keep it?
Ah, nope. (I honestly forgot that she was named Lilith. Whoops. ) Lilith (In TIOL) is Lady Desrosiers' first name. As for who's going to die... I haven't even fully decided yet! And it could be a ways down the line- grim reapers are very patient. o:)
I finally got finished with the next TIOL chapter! Chapter Eight: Lilith has absolutely nothing to do with Valentine's Day. I could have planned that a bit better, but it's better than nothing! :D
I decided to make my simself into a vampire because, at the time, I was only writing TIOL and thought it would be fitting if my avi was doing one of the vampire poses they make in CAS. I'm not a vampire in real life (obviously :D ) but I am one of the palest people I know!
Yeah, I think you can definitely include it in a way that's tactful. So long as her mental illness isn't the main/only reason she's killing people, I think it should be fine. :)
Awesome chapter! I love the ghost servants. At least Myla doesn't seem entirely unhappy there. I'm still holding that grudge, though! :D Lord Du Bois has some redeeming to do if I'm going to let it go!
I think it could work, but you'd probably need to flesh out some of the details more (I mean, you're probably already planning on that, but here's my two-cents anyways). I feel like there should be more of a reason for the girl to resort to murdering her own family. 'Arranged marriage? Off with their heads!' sounds a…
@simscognito Yeah, she was alright. It was mostly just that the crowded theatre that made her feel poorly. Afterwords we went to eat at a restaurant in china town so it was still a good time. Luckily I'd seen the show already so I didn't mind missing some of it!
Sorry I'm late answering these! What are your thoughts on the way it is written? I really like it! It's perfect for shorter reading sessions. The way you write dialogue is also very enjoyable. It's funny and also very believable! :) Who is your favourite character and why? Either Henry or Paris. Probably Paris. I just love…
I've found that in most of my stories, I'm getting to the "I have a lot of good ideas but they can't happen yet" stage. It's a time in my writing process where the story is old enough for my to have some good plots thought up, but the characters aren't developed enough for me to follow through on any of them. Does this…
