We have mice. The ones that run out of the mice holes (City Living/Cats&Dogs,) and the caged one from My First Pet Stuff. They are tied to objects, though. :/
Do you have the wedding game pack? If you plan a proper wedding, you can assign the cake to the wedding and it'll 'disappear' until needed. Then you click on a surface to place it somewhere during the wedding.
Yes, plates also keep ending up in mine, when I tell my sims to put away food. Frustrating. What I choose to add depends on the family. For example, one of my sims is a hero who saved Strangeville, so she keeps items related to that to talk about to her grandkids one day.
I don't think ya'll are talking about the same thing. Get Famous has video equipment that NPCs operate when your sim is in the acting career, but you can't do much else with them. Cat's referring to the regular cameras that shoot pictures, if I'm not mistaken?
One of my spellcasters is stalked by the night wraith, so she cannot sleep, ever, and her energy stays in the red. Pretty sure it's for spellcasters only, because my sim got it through a failed spell.
The problem is, when I turn on aging for unplayed sims also, they age way faster than my played sims. (on long lifespan) So, I enable it for the active household only, then every blue moon, I enable it for unplayed, only a few days.
Yes, you can bring them. Toddlers, too. It's just a little finicky because if you bring a group, they won't be selected so you'll have to re-add everyone to the group prior to ordering. Unsure if this is due to inviting more than 8 sims, or to having infants/toddlers in the group...
The sleepover event is different from stay overs. The sleepover is like a party. As for stay over, I had one by switching to the grandparent's house, then having their 2 grandkids stay over. 1 infant, 1 toddler. They stayed for 2 or 3 days, and it was pretty cool. I didn't try switching back to the parent's home though, to…
I'm starting to fear that might have some relevance. I got mine through third party, and it still says "Available Soon." It never showed a specific time that I could download it.
@Lilia1971 Same here. That's as far as I got, now it's just download error. You can follow the support thread here, and click "Me Too" https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues-PC/Growing-Together-Unable-to-Download/td-p/12389817/highlight/false
Finally got it to show I own the expansion. But the button is grayed out and it still says Available Soon. Sigh. *Went to "Manage Add-Ons" from the base game and the download button is green. Doesn't matter, because now it's "There's a problem with your download." I could scream.
The game lets you transfer funds when moving sims out. Just transfer most of the money to the kids. Or put the money in a vault (community lot, like a bank,) and leave the door open. The kids should be able to access the money after the parents die. The vault trick might also work if it remains on the parent's lot, but I'm…
I've been trying for 2 hours now just to get this update. *Woot, finally! I gave up and decided to read the patch notes. That's when the patch started downloading on its own.
Thanks. That's what I've been doing, repeatedly. Hopefully I'll get lucky. I'm on my 20th reload. :# Edit: My library returned. All games except, drumroll.... The Sims. My, My has this been fun.
