  • Sadly, that's true and the animations really 100% gave it away for me. They felt so cartoony and and reminded me of TS4's spaghetti animations which some of them are not very realistic. I just wish their main target group would be a more mature audience, the gameplay and humor would be so funny.
  • I feel like it's going to be like Minecraft or Gmod where the main game will be solo/offline but you'll have the option to either invite one or more people to your game or either create a big server (the latter meh.. I do not know how this would work). Plus, it's also confirmed by some job listings that there is going to…
  • They can sleep in sim's arms <3
  • This is the first time I ever preordered a pack and I was a bit anxious because I know this game's history with packs and their issues and this is one of the reasons I do not own many packs. But when I started playing, I can say with ease that this is the best pack I own (tied with Seasons). It is so well developed and I…
  • The trailer showed a lot of nice things and it definitely got my attention. Let's hope the gameplay is stable enough because, overall, it seems to be very well made. If it is, I'll definitely buy this as a last pack for my game. :)
  • I think there is only one stuff pack left to be released, that's why they don't release as much. If I remember correctly stuff packs stopped at code SP18 and then got replaced by Kits but started at SP20. So there is a long lost stuff pack SP19 somewhere. :D
  • I created my second legacy family on TS4 on September of last year after finishing my first one on TS3 the same month. My 2nd gen sim was going to have his first child but after the news in October, I turned off aging to wait for the update release so my first 3rd gen sim will be the first infant. :D
  • I think the infants update will probably be out either on 31st of this month since there is an upcoming stream or last Tuesday of February because I feel like the EP will be released around the beginning of March. Maybe they will announce the pack way earlier like they did with Cottage Living. But I also thought at first…
  • It might be. The only highly requested themes that come to my head for an expansion pack are a family pack (which is basically confirmed), a musical pack and a summer vacation pack.
  • I was just about to buy Cats and Dogs as my last expansion pack for my game and then this happened. Now I have to wait for the new pack to check it out and then choose between those two haha. :dizzy:
  • I have the Nraas Mods and like 5 script mods from MTS. But I chose 'other' because the only bonus mods that I have is custom careers, which are a lot. I don't have many packs so I want to add a bit more of a variety in that section.
  • They weren't exactly made by me as all of them were born in-game but still it's one of my favorite families I enjoyed playing in my save. The Langeraks. They were descendants of the original Langeraks, Bachelors, McIrish and Endwoods (My longest ever running family) On the left is Savannah Bachelor who is descendant of…
  • I think it will be released between October 2024-May 2025. It could be way earlier or way later than that but who knows.
  • I really wish they continue the lore and mysteries from Sims 2. I think it would be really interesting to see for example Bella and Mortimer's grandchildren or Lilith Pleasant with Dirk Dreamer have a family together in the new game. They could also mix it up meaning that they could also make descendants of returning…
  • I have a weird but good feeling that seasons will be added on base game or at least rain and wind. I think they can finally make it work.
  • They did say that they are going to keep us updated on the game's progress until its release (probably for feedback) and I feel like we will probably hear news about it every 6-9 months or so. I also think the game will be released either at the beginning of 2024 at the earliest or beginning of 2025 at the latest. Off…
  • From the looks of it, it seems that it approaches TS3's customization style a lot and I'm happy about that. What would be hard to do but really cool is having sims with height difference. And of course open world is a must (or an open neighborhood at least).
  • I'm back from the dead and oh my goodness so many good stuff announced! I also think the next expansion pack is generations-like, or it could focus on one life stage (the elderly in this case) like they did with high school years. But someone also pointed out that one of the new worlds in progress shows a toddler on a…
  • I'm okay with the new Goths (except Alexander) but I won't really see them in my game because I play one save at a time and it was created before their arrival :D . Edit: Forgot to mention these are my own version of the Goths that's why I don't bother changing them to the new ones
  • With pronouns added in the game, I think they will slowly begin adding the refreshed households to get the lore ready. But I really hope they fix them if there is something wrong with them. For example, I don't prefer the new Goths that much although I have to say they improved Mortimer and Cassandra a lot. Bella is meh…
  • Most favorite I'd say University Life. This pack is very well made and offers so many things for your sim to do and clothing with hair are nice too. Least favorite I'd say Late Night. Don't get me wrong, I love the apartments, the town, vampires, clothing etc. It's just the fact that every community lot is empty. When my…
  • When becoming an Undercover Specialist in Law Enforcement career, sim will wear various outfits from other careers and change everyday to show that they are indeed undercover.
  • Car mechanic which would be suitable if cars returned and journalist which could also be in a showtime-themed pack if they decide to make it active.
  • Siblings Beatrice and Ernest Goth, grandchildren of Cassandra Goth
  • I discovered this randomly. Seems that when a sim is very sad, the night ambient sounds' pitch and speed will slow down a bit. Probably to make it sound more 'sad-like' and make it fit with the emotion? Update: Turns out it changes in every emotion
  • Sims 1 ummmm... I don't know much about sims 1 packs because I've played the least of all games. I think sims 1 without packs is just fine and fun. Sims 2 Nightlife Probably the best pack they ever made in general, with base game's gameplay detail, it's just chef's kiss. Sims 3 University Life There are so many great packs…
  • @Lady_Ballora @Cinebar I agree so much with you. I want TS5 but not because I hate TS4. I enjoy playing all four games because each game has its own (and different) pros and cons. I just want something fresh and new. For example, back when TS4 rumors rose up, I was playing TS3 so much at the time but I never said something…
  • The game's hair, clothing and skintones are better than CC. I don't know... For me CC sims from head to toe look like I'm not playing the sims at all, like it loses its main beauty. (Same for furniture) I have never downloaded cc for my sims, I think my sims look better with the game's content. I'm a very average…
  • All the packs I have are my favourite since.. well... I bought them :D . What I'm trying to say is that I don't regret buying anything because I usually do a little research before buying a pack to see if it's my cup of tea or not. All the packs I have are great but Seasons is my most favourite. University is the second…
  • There have been rumours and 'leaks' for months now that the game is going to be revealed in EA Play but I doubt it. I think they are going to give the whole time they have in the event only for Sims 4 like upcoming content and maybe a surprise reveal of a game pack or kit who knows :D . But, if there is going to be an…
