I got this too with the university homework, before the patch. It wouldn't let me pick it up again as it said it wasn't his to take. Bought like 20 of them from the bookshelf though!
They said it's coming  I enjoyed it, I'm sure the trait updates will be all similar in that they get more benefits from doing trait related activities! Nice to see them excited and happy!
Sorry I'm just getting back to you now! I got University, Snowy Escape and also Eco Living. I am really enjoying University, haven't had much of a chance to check out the others so far though! Did you pick up any? (:
I really hope so, I mainly just play as a single sim and follow them thru their generations so extra content and more gameplay towards this would be great. It would give them a lot more life if done right!
I don't use mods at all and would be pretty wary of doing it - my game automatically updates and it's in my head that you can lose saves if you don't delete mods before updates? I think it's badly needed also, it's something that made the game so fun - seeing the world progress with your sim!
@psykt Oh awesome, i'll check again once my game finishes downloading.. I really love your quirky sims and the doctor couple, they will definitely be making appearances in my game. You've got a lot of talent!
Hey! I love your creations  I tried finding them in the gallery and currently I just can find the roommates from this forum? Did you take down the others or am I doing it wrong? lol
I feel your pain, currently have to reinstall my games because my computer had to be reset. And apparently I've 23 more hours to go :anguished: And that's just for the base game..
Haha I rarely use cheats, except the occasional moveobjects when building a house.. I find it funner to build up the hard earned simoloens from scratch ;)
@rosemow thank you, I was able to play again when starting from a completely new folder, but I lost my save , home & family as I didn't have them on the gallery and when I added my save game it wouldn't work again. I guess the cause was somewhere in that family. :disappointed:
I'm getting this issue now too, I don't have any mods and only have the deluxe edition and GTW. I've already repaired my game and it didn't help, very frustrating and disappointing. :disappointed:
I remember loving the Broke family in Sims 2, and I play them sometimes in sims 3 as a break from my current family.. I always like seeing them ingame
I can't wait for more generations content, I actually preferred it over pets & seasons because it added content that I enjoyed (and used) the most!
@Sigzy05 I think it's an issue of saving up money and then it's almost a waste to spend it on a game just to test to see if you were right about not going to enjoy it! If everyone was to buy things and decide for themselves, there would be no need for reviews or anything of the likes? Not to mention not everyone…
I think that they will be included for sure, it's such a big part of family gameplay and alot of us are family players. I'm going to hope for a generations style expansion that includes toddlers and alot more family gameplay
In my opinion, no.. I played more than I would without it but once my sim got a wife & an alien baby, then I stopped going to work with him as it was too much lack of control on the rest of the family. It was just like an ordinary job, and he doesn't bring home any new potions or level up as you would if you attended work…
Painting is also nice to do, if you haven't already seen most of the paintings it's always interesting to see what they draw! Also you could try a baby challenge on the side, impregnating sims across town
I really liked the pet birds, rodents & turtles from sims 3. I thought it was a cute feature, even though it's not quite as impressive as a Yeti!
