I think I'm done with the Sims 4. It's just so boring. I can play The Sims 2 for hours and hours on end without getting bored. They just interact with eachother more and have a ton of depth to them. What with Sims not having the same relationship meter with the same Sim, and different interests, and a personality that…
Thank you! I'd really appreciate any feedback or tips on how to better capture a likeness, if anyone would be so kind, since I'm really new to this sort of thing.
I tried to make one of my favorite people, and after a few weeks I think I'm done putting time into it. MARCELLO MASTROIANNI The famous Italian icon from La Dolce Vita, 8 1/2, Divorce, Italian Style and plenty of other classic films. He's ready to enjoy "the sweet life" in your Sims game, 8 1/2 times over.
I don't understand what this topic is about anymore. But I highly recommend you buy The Sims 2 if you enjoyed any of the other games. It is by far the best in the series when it comes down to meaningful gameplay.
I don't know what any of you mean by reworking the game from scratch. You can get the original up and running on modern hardware with a bit of jiggery-pokery. If I can do that with literally no resources, EAxis should be able to modify the original files enough to get it up on Origin with minimal effort.
The Sims 2. No contest. It takes me 20 minutes just to load up my Sims 3 save. And the game bloats like crazy, I've had savefiles end up being multiple gigs. I can't even play most of the content without it crashing on me. The Sims 2 never had that issue. I have all the Sims games installed except 3 now.
I'm still having some trouble logging in. I haven't touched this game in about two years, and tried to get my Store content I purchased way back in '09, but can't log in. Obviously it's an issue on the site, since I was able to log in here and on Origin just fine.
Well, if there's a Sims 4 I'm not buying it. I'm losing too much shelf space to all the EPs, especially the Sims 2. Those cases they came in are twice as large as the cases Sims 3 stuff comes in. Also EA tends to like screwing their customers over. Remember SecuRom?
To be honest with you, I've given up with a timeline with the Sims. It's just so wierd how this game is supposed to be a prequel. There are just so many ways that the story doesn't line up with what happened in 1 and 2. Tbh, why did EA even make a story to these games in the first place?
My Sim does this to. I think it's because of him being a coward. Is your Sim cowardly? EDIT: Above poster says it doesn't matter what traits they have. ~~Handman50~~
I have the Complete Collection set, so it doesn't take up so much space... I remember making my family in the Sims (who hasn't?) and when I saw togas, I had to make the Greek gods. ~~Handman50~~ EDiT: Everything The Sims in one box. :-D
Yeah, remember when Kitty's dad died, and Kitty was upset at her mom for not grieving? Red tried to calm her down, but he made a terrible mistake. It went something like: KITTY: Did you hear that? That is not grieving. RED: Okay Kitty, calm down. It’s not that big of a deal. Maybe you’re having a hot flash. ERIC: Oh, Dad.…
I was thinking of making the house months ago, I couldn't believe no one made it or the characters before, glad so many people here like the show. ~~Handman50~~
