  • Meh...I dunno lol. I have not been here for a long while (lol I got my ninth anniversary badge when I logged in).....to be honest I was just randomly searching YouTube for like the sims 5. I saw the jungle adventure pack, looked interesting and that lead me back here. To be honest they could have produced some more content…
  • I logged in this morning and my game was updating. I was browsing the extra content and was just about to buy laundry stuff when I noticed the price hike. Well that's a sale they have now lost as I cannot condone a 50% price increase. People can say what they like, but I'm saying EA had a dismal 2017 with sales from their…
  • Well it kinda confirms what many of us suspected at the release. I firmly have believed myself with or without any conformation that Ts4 was always the scraps off the cutting room floor that was Olympus. Though I will give the devs some credit, it must have been hard when the decision was made to scrap Olympus and get told…
  • Decreased ......quite abit. I have all the current exp and stuff packs but its like... meh. This game an I just never gelled like with TS2 & Ts3. I used to spend hours with the sims, now maybe and hour or so and I'm bored. I still play my Ts3 legacy family though! Been spending abit more time with my console…
  • Maybe he has being playing Mass Effect Andromeda ....and his face is "tired"
  • I have all the content exp and stuff packs, don't know the monetary value exactly, bought some stuff on that 30% off sale last year and picked up 2 bundle packs in the bargain bin at my local gaming store. Paid full price for the exp packs cause I got them at release, same for the game packs.
  • Well the addition of toddlers would have rekindled a lot of interest back into the game, hence like stated above, people went out and started buying it. I have played it more since toddlers were added, prior it was a half hour or so for me. Still though I will wait for TS5 My time is now divided between FF15 and Horizon…
  • I miss... The way the sims reacted to situations like in TS2. Miss the freedom of the open world of Ts3. I hate the loading screens, I only wish they had made a semi open world so the lots in the playable district did not require loading between lots. I could deal with a loading screen between districts. I miss washing…
  • Lol wow thanks for the link, I had to really really go back to where I kinda remember I left off. Gotta lotta catching up to do
  • I have this ATM...and it pretty much handles everything I can throw at it....it also has great cooling System InformationTime of this report: 1/21/2017, 18:09:19 Machine name: Dell Pandora Operating System: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit (10.0, Build 14393) (14393.rs1_release_inmarket.161208-2252) Language: English (Regional…
  • Mine Is Ethan Jacobs.......this is the first time in 2 years I have actually changed my avatar ...why..... cause I'm Happy!
  • I don't know if it just me, but maybe the person driving the boat now actually knows what a sims game should be hence when taking over the reins from you know who.....made it a top priority to steer it in the right direction, starting with toddlers. While the engine as a whole does have some limitations with regards to…
  • Its a step in the rite direction, though it kinda baffles me why it took so long. One of the hottest potato topics on the boards, as game developers, I think it should have been made a priority. Anyway they are back and I'm playing again...so it has done something good. I was used to a "cradle to grave" life cycle ever…
  • Was that option not just added to Ts3 as a last ditch attempt to optimize the game, like clearing some of the bloat of all the content Ts3.
  • Yup I do lol (Some children books in Ts3 were called Jimmy Sprocket, so paid homage to them with some Ts2 references) ....Jimmy Sprocket and the flying Pig. ...,Jimmy Sprocket and the the Mystical Cheese .....Jimmy Sprocket and the Great Sissors Run. In my darker days of Ts4 launch .... ......The sims 4, what is it?…
  • Well I have not touched the game since mid November .......I randomly came to the forums today and had to literally rub my eyes to make sure I was reading the banner correctly......I also refreshed the page about five times..........shocked was I....yessss
  • OMG I'm late to the party......How did I miss this.....TODDLERS!
  • Well I was surprised, I randomly decided to visit the site 2day, and I almost gagged when I read the banner at the top......I literally started rubbing my eyes to see if it was true what I was reading. I have not been playing for awhile (been playing FF15), but after reading the patch notes, I logged into origin and…
  • No, I have tried that already, remember every time it does that client crash, a re-loggin to origin says the game(s) are not installed, but are ready for download, I have already wasted 12 gigs of data doing this this afternoon, I'm not gonna waste more data lol. I will just leave GTW out for now.
  • Yes everything is registered, it actually queues all the exp and stuff packs for download, It downloads everything and installs without an issue, except for GTW, that's where the hang starts, whether it is the disk version or the digital one....it always says "preparing". BTW yes I do go and uninstall the game under the…
  • I have all Ts4 stuff, but like many I find the game play lacking, I do however like the way Ts4 sims look, but that's it. It always makes me feel like I'm playing a tablet game lol. Anyway after a long hiatus away from the sims in general (playing to much Witcher) I reinstalled all my whole Ts3 collection, unfortnaly I did…
  • It is pretty quite, I would preffer some more ambient city noise. The only place I have heard some "city noise" is playing basket ball in the spice dirstict.
  • Ok I own everything, but I will rate the packs/exp that I use the most, the non mentioned ones obviously rate low on my scale 1. Base game (after all updates) 6/10 2. Outdoor Retreat 8/10 (I use it allot) 3. City living 8/10 (by far my most favorite pack to date, but still limited game play) 4. Spa Day 7/10 (I use the…
  • Nope there is something the update did, I have all exp packs and DLC packs installed and prior to the update, my Laptop did no even break a sweat running the game all on high graphic settings, now since the update I get freezes for afew seconds and the laptop fans speed up, especially around the "freezes". Not my…
  • Lol I dunno how accurate my hours played is. Previously it always showed I only played 24 hours.....since we got the new version of origin it now shows 192 hours.
  • @halimai1980 Just outa interest how many hours have you clocked up on TW3? I have done 6 playthroughs and have both exp packs, I'm currently playing again, cause I bought the GOTY edition. Lol I don't play sims 4 much, but I did do the sugar skull challenge.....took me an hour  Oh I also play TW3 on ps4.
  • @luthienrising Tks for making this thread and consolidating the q&a. I have not yet watched some of the live streams yet, but I'm heading there soon. Ty ;)
  • Believe it or not...I have all the content, but am very ...meh..wah wah about the game. I have not played in a while, though I did mess around with Dine Out, but not for long. The pack I used most was Outdoor Retreat (cause it was the 1st game pack and was a distraction from the mundane base game play)....and I kind could…
