If you know you won't use everything, I would not give a huge yes. However, you mentioned elopements and there is a nice little register office in the new world where you can just get married. I have sent a few of my sims to the Tartosa on a date to elope at the register office. Having bought the pack, I can say it's a…
The Sims 4 is the first game I have played since release. I played TS2 and 3, however, the base games and expansions had long since been released. The reason for saying this is that, when I would pick my expansions, I would always add the seasons and university packs first. Seasons adds so much more to the game, slowing…
First Place: Generations. There is still so much more to do in the young adult life stage compared to the others. One can only hope a pack like this would fill in the gaps of the other life stages. Second Place: Farming BUT only if there are horses and an equestrian career. Otherwise, no. Third Place: Medieval. As a total…
Parenthood, with Jungle Adventure in a close second place. Like it has already been said, there are things lacking in Parenthood but it is a pack focused on some part of family life. Up to its release, there had been so much focus on the young adult life stage and, as a player that loves to raise families, that was getting…
It's actually a really close tie between vacations and hobbies. I do think they need more hobbies. Destinations that would be better suited for young families - or they could add a Butlins neigbourhood to Granite Falls (in a patch).
I just noticed a post from someone that said they had Tiny Living installed and it's completely messed up their game - so I'm going to wait until that gets sorted... and there's a sale. I've decided to only consider stuff packs when they're on sale. I can't bring myself to spend £9.99 on what they offer.
I know what you mean, it can be a little tiresome. Consequently, the difference means that we're going to be able to download it an hour earlier than I expected. I pre ordered yesterday simply because I knew I had the pennies and was on origin. There has never been any benefit, that I've noticed, to pre-ordering.
Yes, I do think that they've done a great job in CAS. I felt that they rushed through the guy's stuff a little, but it didn't change the vibe I got about the stuff we'll get. So glad that the live stream didn't disappoint - only wished it had been longer.
Honestly, I have not ever gelled with the idea of active classes. I prefer the idea of writing papers and doing homework, with exams and classes as rabbitholes. I've been having issues with active careers, specifically the freelance. I would get annoyed if my sim was going to class and things were going wrong technically…
I think the specialised degrees might relate to the prestige of the university (therefore, more resources etc). My example that I think of is based more on my high schools, but one was also a language college at the time I was there. What that meant was there were more resources than normal for language lessons. I know…
I totally understand what people are saying about the lack of info being disturbing. I'm hoping it is just a new marketing ploy that isn't working. Can hardly wait until Friday's livestream, and release a week later. Nevertheless, the silence is deafening and the suspense is not the good kind right now.
Since it's an expansion pack you'd find on sale, I'd get it then. That isn't to say the EP is not good, I just think that if a person didn't get it on release they should take advantage of the opportunity to save money (I wish I could be that person more often :( ). As far as the pack is concerned, I really like it. I tend…
Ooh, the run time inspires hope that there's lots to get through. I think it'll be 7ish pm in GB, so I'll be home from work. In any case, I'll be watching reruns if I do happen to miss it. I have questions and I would love to find answers.
Having two universities makes me hope we have more course options. I hope subjects such as history or psychology (really want these), or the villainy one would be at Britechester and Foxbury have the art history and engineering. The pack description gives highlights (at least, I really hope so).
I have been waiting for this pack for ages. The trailer looks great (of course, they're supposed to!). There are things I'd like to know more about, such as, whether bicycles will be for all worlds and whether there will be more course choices. I know I'll be getting it because I've always loved university packs.
I'm pretty busy right now, so my gameplay is not something I'm strategising about. Having said that, when I am playing I'll be getting my teens ready to go to uni. That's all I know I can prep for at the moment. I'd hope to think my older sims can go to uni, but we'll see.
