  • It always depends on the family I want to play and/or what kind of house I want them to live in! I love that I have so many world to chose from, but I would say that I have a real soft spot for Sunset Valley and Aurora Skies. And maybe Hidden Springs. And Riverview. And Appaloosa plains now I have pets. And Bridgeport. OK…
  • I can only run one EP at a time because I'm on a laptop, and I also lived with just vanilla for a good 2-3 years and loved it. Because I can only run one EP at a time, every time I activated a new one it was like Christmas and I spent ages just looking at lots in the new worlds, appreciating all the new build/buy/cas…
  • Very true! That picture of mine is totally vanilla. Stalking this thread yesterday I got my first brnt waffles lighting mod (Perfect Day with Roaring Heights Water). Needless to say, I was not disappointed.
  • I just find that because I only have one expansion, everything either has to look the same or nothing matches. :/ Don't get me wrong, I really really like some aspects of TS4 build mode, and you are very right in that some aspects are A LOT easier, like I love being able to move the whole lot and take the roof off of…
  • I hate the backgrounds in TS4 because 70% of it is fake decoration that you can't get to. That beautiful house on the hill in TS3? Oh you can go there! And the people that live there are townies with stories, not randomly generated people who just fill up houses because you've moved in. Oh the beach at the bottom of Sunset…
  • I can only run the game on medium graphics, and I can still get views like this. [img][/img] Can I just say that this thread is AMAZING. Some of the screenshots here look like photos. What you can do with just one lighting mod is ridiculous.
  • I do understand that some people prefer the graphics style of TS4, but after fully stalking the TS3 section's "I still love scenery" thread yesterday and being totally blown away, I just can't enjoy TS4 graphics without trying to understand I'm in the cartoon network channel. Some of the screenshots in that thread look…
  • I love that the thought bubbles actually relate to events and wishes for Sims, it gives them more life and it's always fun to imagine what conversations sims are having, it can be hilarious sometimes. "Oh you hate technology? Well I like kittens!". Wut. :D :D I love when they are dreaming and you kind kind of see what they…
  • When you have to have a quick chat with yourself when steam and Origin shows you have over 6,500 hours clocked into the game... And all that chat results in is you realising it is 6,500 hours that couldn't be better spent. :D :D
  • I accidentally hit quit instead of save and quit once, and the worst thing is that it gives you a 'do you want to save or just quit' and I was stupid enough to think 'eugh I just saved and quit stupid' and just hit quit (I was extremely tired!). I realised what I had done milliseconds later and felt like a right numpty. :s…
  • Loving all the pets! The way puppies run in the game is the most adorable thing I've ever seen. :D <3
  • I find myself going back to Sims 3 every single time I give Sims 4 another try. I have tried in TS4 to create different stories, build unique houses and generally bring some fun into the game, as I've paid good money for it. Each time I get intensely bored or frustrated with the lag, go back to TS3, am amazed with the open…
  • :D :D :D :D Burst out laughing to this one.
  • Just a robber with massive assets questioning her life choices in Bridgeport Park.
  • Oh my Lord what a beautiful house. Where did you get those rugs? :open_mouth:
  • So after a short mental breakdown I decided to move on to another build. This time I decided to do something tiny, with a real fairytale vibe to it. So this is Primrose Cottage. [img][/img] Here's the living space The Kitchen/Dining Area The idea behind this place (in case it wasn't blaringly obvious) is ridiculous levels…
  • So I just spent three hours building an estate kinda house. I was furnishing the last room before finishing the landscaping. My game crashed. Please pray for my sanity. :(
  • Loving the builds guys! I haven't been building for a while (been playing some TS4 but I'm already pretty sick of it), but I might jump back in today. So did this thread get moved or something? :o
  • So I went back to Sims 4 last week to check out the toddlers. Yay, toddlers are great. Adorable. However, I quickly remembered why I stopped playing and went back to 3 in the first place. Apart from the boring gameplay, the lag is ATROCIOUS. "Eugh TS3 is sooooo laggy". I run TS3 on medium graphics with no problems…
  • @Waterdragon yeah the whole doing everything in the bathroom annoys me too. :D One of my male sims finished taking a dump and then his wife came in to flirt with him. How romantic.
  • @deadhaus123 Nice build, will you put up some more screenshots when it's finished? :) Another one here myself, in the Deery Meadows town I am doing up. [img][/img]
  • I've never seen it before but I'm tempted to now after reading. ;) I loved your Holland family story so I thought I'd read this anyway even without seeing the show, and of course was not disappointed. :p
  • I'm currently filling up a CC world, Deery Meadows, in CAW, and as you can probably imagine, I have said some rather not PG things with how many times it's crashed. :D Today I spent a good hour doing the hospital, and wouldn't you know, just when I was about to save it crashed. *Turns to boyfriend after crash* "It's fine.…
  • Hey @emorrill all read up now! Poor Sam. :( I don't want him to move on from Donna! :|
  • Woooah those buildings are amazing, @junceda . Straight out of the Renaissance, I love the Sims clothing, all of it just fits together so well, what world is that in? :o Six months is crazy, I could never have that much patience.
  • @ChelleJo Hahahahahahahahahaha! I do that too! :D :D Do you do it in like a 'mother' voice too? Like that voice a parent uses when you've done something stupid and they tell you they have no problem doing something about it? :D :D
  • I didn't even know that was an interaction! :D Yeah the autonomous interactions can be hilarious sometimes, but when your Sims deviate from the story that you want for them it's like "excuse me who said you could do that?". :D
  • Aurora Skies at dawn. Not a mod in sight. Sometimes I wonder what the point of going outside is anymore with The Sims 3 being this pretty. :D [img][/img]
  • One more! I placed this house in Riverview, It's called Little Blue. :) [img][/img] I think it looks lovely at night! Homely or something. [img][/img]
