That's interesting - I will definitely check that as I had that issue when I first went into Evergreen Harbor. The main issues for me seem to be sims not finishing tasks. I have to repeatedly queue the same actions for them as they quit half way through. Also - not sure if anyone else has had this, but my sims sometimes…
I'm enjoying it on the whole .... but the neighbourhoods are too small! And the flats are so difficult to refurbish. Can't change the windows or put things on the balcony! First thing that's frustrated me so far
My Sims are automatically brewing De-stressing Concoction. None of them have the herbalism skill, although they are Spellcasters (low level). But this brew never gets finished. It's also in the game as a drink in a can. Where does the De-stressing Brew come from? I went to the Tinker's house and there were a few cans of it…
The weird thing is - I'm sure my Sim can carry a book up and down the ladder with one hand. Anyone else seen this happening? So why not everything else?
I actually think the Free Love one is quite funny, and makes for an interesting town. But the least favourite has to be Sharing is Caring! It's so annoying - but in a fun way I suppose. "Didn't I have a patio set out here? - Oh yes, Sharing is Caring is in action!" I like that I have to work to repeal it too.
Yes. I really like this aspect and I hope that this is a sign we'll get more consquences and more characters in the game with their own personalities that do things that influence our played Sims. The NAP's are basically week long behaviour transformations. My sims garden without me needing to tell them to do it, and even…
Yay! I know, selling candles and fizzy juices on Plopsy is going to be amazing. I think we are going to have to wait a long while. I'm sure I heard that it wouldn't be released until the end of the year. Say it isn't so!
It could be because the materials you use in your home now have flammable ratings. You'll need to put metal or stone around fireplaces and not wood. Sorry if you knew this already!
I've been playing it most of today and yesterday and I find it very immersive! I feel busy with three Sims just moved into Conifer Station. I think that having N.A.P's makea the world feel real. Things happen out of my control. Flirting and stealing and fishing and all that makes it feel like the townies and NPC's are more…
What about the beebox if you have seasons? I'm going to try that next. When I watched James turner's let's play, there was a soy plant next to the bar in port promise.
I visited Port Promise...and although my Sims started coughing, it didn't look smoggy at all. Is that just me? I wonder if I have some bug because when I played island Living, it didn't look that dirty at all. Do you have thick smog in your industrial footprint neighborhood?
I just got it! I haven't gone into the new world yet. But my Sims (well, me) are super duper enjoying the Americana station. Getting my teens reading fabrication books ready for when they move out into Evergreen Harbour.
Blackout Tuesday - from Sky News: "#BlackoutTuesday: Millions make stand against racism and turn internet black. Millions of people have turned the internet black for #BlackoutTuesday, a huge social media protest sparked following the death of George Floyd. As protests have taken place around the world and the US continues…
I think it's disrespectful not to use their huge platfrom to educate, inform and raise awareness for Black Lives Matter - and then to release this tweet without even using it as an amazing chance to give a link to a funding page, or a BLM education page. It feels phony to just not say anything when all eyes would have been…
They haven't expressed any support for Black Lives Matter - nothing, if it's to do with this then they should have let people know and given a proper full tweet expressing supprt for BLM. I don't think this is why they did delay it though, must have been another issue - but again, they didn't explain. I don't think it…
I just have to have CC hair and skin - I can live with the maxis clothes, and shoes, even eyes. Oh hang on, no, the eyebrows are awful, gotta have my cc eyebrows too. For build mode, I often use the same cc wallpaper as it's so beautiful and I just don't like many of the wallpapers. Other than that - I could play it…
Am I going mad, or do I remember my sim in Get Famous had an investment scheme? Can someone tell me if this is in fact in the game and if so, how to do that again? It was a good bit of money now and again.
I can't wait! I just want a container home, that's it. I've got a whole lot of toddlers who I wanted to have be young adults so they can move into the new world. Come on, age up already so I can get you dumpster diving!
With a regular patch would you just keep your mod folder as is and start the game usually? With this patch, should I take out my mod folder first, start the game, then restart with the mod folder restored - or does that make no difference whatsoever?
