Had some weird messages pop up saying one or more items were missing 'that may not be installed on your computer or the EA account that is currently logged in does not own these items. It was a bit alarming so went to Crinrict's forum to see if I could fine out about it. And I did!
Now I need to find out how to find pictures taken in game and get them out. Hate taking the time to figure out these types of things when I could be playing or painting.

I had my Sim drop out to see what would happen. She had teen years left so maybe that's why she went to Prom a second time even though she wasn't attending HS. I haven't tried to send her back to school again but plan to try to get her back in school or figure out how to graduate.

Thought I should mention that things seem to have righted themselves. So far produce harvested is staying in inventory and when fertilizing get produce and fish to choose from. The harvested items are disappearing from my Sim's inventories. Is this suppose to happen?

Oh, I hope they do fix the splicing problem. I gave up on the spliced plants and just had the Sims plant new seeds. I liked the splicing to get bonus plants and it made a big garden half the work.

My Sims in a family that were all gardeners had no produce in their inventory and couldn't get produce from the fridge to replace the plants that didn't grow. Half of my Sims garden is now just little piles of dirt in the plantbox. No growth Spring through Autumn. Formally mature plants with a high value aren't growing, just staying little piles of dirt. I was upset that about half of a garden's plants were little piles of dirt when they had been mature thriving plants before ' Seasons' changed things. They didn't even sprout and now the growing season is over. At the moment I just don't care for the changes in gardening at all.

Don't like the gardening anymore at all. My stay at home Dad was making money by selling his produce. A lot of my Sims garden and make herbal remedies to sell for extra funds. It's just not fun anymore.

That is good advice Imaginative3. Historical I feel the same way. It's definitely a flaw with the program whether it was on purpose or not.

Thank you igazor. There probably is something I'm missing to do and will uninstall the whole game in the future and then put Ep's and stuff packs and store content back in bits at a time testing the game often. Had to do that a few years ago and have also done that factory reset but things are really messed up this time…

Hi, rosemow. I signed out of Origin and did other things. When I signed in this morning both TS4 and Sims Medieval updated immediately. It just seemed like such a strange thing for them to do. Or, maybe not. lol Thank you for the advice.

Both my Sims 4 and Medieval are still in queue for updating. I've been looking for info on how long this might take. I might go into Sims withdrawl.

Updates are wonderful but with this one I can't play my Sims 4 game or Sims Medieval. They're blacked out with an "update in queue" notice. It's been hours! How long is this going to go on for?

I am so glad to read that my computer can upgrade to 10 with no problem playing The Sims Medieval. I had to have help to get it downloaded through the Origin Client but have been playing it off and on for a few years now.

The reset of the Sims Folder worked. It was the last files of that day that were corrupted. My created Sims are gone from my library and I forgot how I handled that before so will look that up when have more time. OK I started a new game. The greyed out plumbobs were misleading. When I saved the game the Load Game menu came up and my last played game was there. Whew! Way too tired to check it out so don't know how much lost but am very glad to know I can continue the story.
