This cracks me up. @SimsTias: Wow, those pictures really bring it home, don't they? I'm glad there's still time for improvement. And to reply to the thread topic, isn't it obvious that fans would compare a sequel game to it's predecessors? Should we forget all about previous Sims games and pretend they've never…
I love this idea, and Supernatural's continuation as well. Why not both, so long as you can turn them on/off at will? I'd like several proper castle-building sets. One that builds a perfect, glittering fairy tale castle. One that builds a dark, gloomy castle. And then a good old fashioned medieval castle. The castle…
I'm all for color wheels! Cactus green sofa? Yes! Cherry blossom pink shoes? Yes! Just the right shade of grey for a dreary-looking set of curtains? Oh yes! *signed with great zeal*
I'm not sure I even understand the realism argument. The Sims are based on humans and our human lives, with the exception of Supernatural characters and the like. The argument about the game looking too realistic, now that I can understand. Some like it cartoony, and others don't. But as far as gameplay itself, you could…
I've been reading up as much as I can about it over the last few days. I'm totally on the fence at this point. Some things they've mentioned are really great. Others are just awful. And some are just okay. Still waiting for more info.
I have no problem with this at all. It'd actually be fun to have a guy living in the woods without electricity, too. It'd add more options. So long as the game doesn't punish you in any way other than simply turning off the utility. I think Sims should be able to choose whether or not they even want the individual…
I'd love to see.. -I know Sims in TS3 can get into fights, and Supernatural added some fun for that. But I'd love to see more ways for Sims to battle each other. Maybe even create groups that can go against each other outside of their careers. Custom groups would be even better, especially if you could add settings to the…
I think it would be adorable. I felt that children Sims had very little personality. Same with teens over all. Generations added a little bit of variation, but still. Even babies should have at least a few more interactions.
Alorapop is correct about all of these "facts." And by the way, I have some oceanfront property to sell you guys located right in the heart of Nebraska.
I'd love a real estate career. I'd like an architect career where you can build houses for other Sims, too. I'm really hoping the neighborhoods will be a bit bigger as well. More like Isla Paradiso. I would actually settle for crappier graphics if it meant having a larger neighborhood overall, but that's probably just me.…
It would be fun if more items were usable rather than decor! Usable tea kettles and toasters would be adorable. I also notice decor on top of the cupboards. Very nice if implemented. And the fridge and oven look great.
Heheh, everywhere I go lately there are people comparing nearly every game to GTA. It really does have a more adult style than The Sims. I think a lot of players would like a more adult version of The Sims, but I can't see it happening for various reasons. At least, not on the same scale of The Sims, meaning it wouldn't…
That's too funny! I don't mind forking over if the product is good. I'll do it with a smile and a nod. And it's true that it's still very early. I'd feel more anxious about it, but Midnight Hollows and Into the Future are coming up soon, so I'm pretty entertained for the moment.
I'm not so much excited as I am just waiting to see what it will be like. I'm about 50/50 on the things I like and dislike so far. That's not really a good sign for me, but it's a long time before the game is released.
Yes! I absolutely loved the cultural sets that have been released (the designs are the loveliest of all of the sets, IMO), but I really want all of them for the entire house, top to bottom. I made an India-based home about a month ago, and there were enough pieces to make it fairly believable, but that isn't the case with…
Hm, things I'd like to see in TS4: -Far more interactions for life stages besides adults. -Actual llamas in the game. Roaming llamas! -Create-A-World. This one will probably be a deal breaker as to whether or not I buy the game at all. -Better organization for Build/Buy or whatever the equivalent will be. Also, a…
I really can't even imagine playing much at all without at least some custom content. I love the creativity of The Sims community. It would be a shame if it were chopped off at the heels for any reason, or made less than it is now. I have faith in modders and CC creators of course, but I do hope modding and CC are still…
