In terms of playing the game, it doesn't matter. It is understandable that long-time Sims fans may be curious about it. It is also possible that arguing about the origin of Sims 4 is more fun than playing Sims 4 itself. :D
I bet if somebody knows something, he/she is not allowed to talk about it. Once that person quits and thus allowed to talk, we may not believe it. Anyway, it is kinda strange to pursue the truth in the speculation forum. ;)
Small penguins enjoy teaching that tango. @simspeaker4 hm...the original sentence has 9 words, there are only 6 words left now! :o I don't mind adding words. Not sure what other people think.
For a game that rolls out frequent patches and sells packs regularly, I am not surprised to see Sims 4 still standing for another 2 years. But if Sims 4 becomes outdated, hopefully there is a Sims 5. Who knows what will happen to gaming in a couple years. Maybe it is no longer fashionable to have a PC, and everybody dives…
I used to play MMORPG, and those forums are more aggressive. I think the arguing in the Sims forum is relatively mild. I'm not surprised with the negativity in the forum because whenever people have problems, they come to the game forum to seek out answers or to complain. I do notice that some comments here are a bit…
Basically, it is fun. I enjoyed trying out the CC costumes and building houses. I'm disappointed with the artificial intelligence of the sims. If the sims were smarter, there would be a lot more fun. But anyway, fun enough as a game.
Below is a quote from the link that you provided. You did quote the same Q&A but only the first line of the answer. The answer does say a new game engine. Since you just quote the first line of the answer, it looks like we have a completely new game. But the rest of the answer explains that the interactions and user…
I checked my data usage in Windows. Nearly 59 GB per month. 32 GB is due to me using webcam every night. The next big data user is browsing the internet, roughly 20 GB. It looks like the rest mainly comes from downloading updates, like Windows update and games update.
Maybe we interpret the provided link differently. According to my understanding, the link is actually quite consistent throughout that Sims 4 is based on Olympus with the online part stripped away. According to the context, the engine that the link talks about should be referring to the graphics engine. That is, how the…
The thread was started like 2 years ago. Somebody necro it just to say no all over again! :p lol While getting the Sims game online is never a popular topic, it certainly makes people curious what the online component would be like.
