I do! I have a blog (link in signature) where I post screenshots. There's not exactly a story, but the screenshots cover the important milestones and add little anecdotes that I've made up in my head. It's kind of weird because the sims in my blog are part of a cult, but it's fun all the same!
I'm just trying to get a promotion. Congrats! You're going to Granite Falls, all expenses paid! Are you choosing a luxurious lodge, a small cabin, or would you prefer a simple tent?
I don't really do clubs unless I need to organize a big group of sims. I forget holidays quite a bit haha! I'm Jewish and sometimes I make Chanukah, Passover, Purim and the High Holy Days but I'm a forgetful person, so most of my sims end up being secular :) Though when my sims get married I will marry them in a synagogue…
My favorite LGBT couple is Ciara and Regina. They just got engaged and moved in together! Regina is cute sim I made myself for university (she is a painter and I am going have her go back to college for art history I think) and Ciara is from the simsie save. Originally I was going to have Regina get married and have one of…
I don't do a ton of weddings as I focus on having children, and so make my sims married in CAS. When I do they are usually very simple events. Just cake & juice in a backyard or park, and family only. Or they elope. No honeymoon because I am too lazy! :D I would like to do more elaaborate weddings and this thread has given…
Honestly I'm not sure. Probably Britechester because it looks really pretty, and because I'm more interested in the "traditional" majors like law, instead of the more modern ones like technology. However I will wait until we have more info before making a definite decision.
oh my god this 100%. My #1 want. (probably) I'd also like to have -free the babies -preteens (+ more ages in general) -a set of basic, realistic-looking furniture with basic colors that all match. And they have decent stats as well -Family trees/being more aware of family and friend relationships (if that makes sense)…
I do the same!! I always get tired of my sims after a while, but usually I make them married when I create them in CAS. I mainly like having families and doing stuff like that, so they don't get divorced unless I'm doing an experiment or something like that.
Interesting! What I do is make an alternative male/female version of one of the partners (so the kid looks like both parents), have them move in with the couple, and impregnante/get impregnated by the other partner. I use relationship cheats to cheat the romance level up and down, and If it's a lesbian couple, I delete the…
Honestly it's all over the place. I don't play legacies that often, but I don't play rags-to-riches either, so it tends to fall between the two. Some are rich, some are middle-class, and maybe 1 or 2 live paycheck-to-paycheck. Whenever I play in a poorer household, I'm amazed at how fast my sims are able to earn money.…
wow @masajo! THAT BUILD IS AMAZING. A. MAZE. ING. How do you do it? I especially like the clutter that you included, like the dish rack in the kitchen. It all pulls together to seem very realistic. :p :) Thanks for posting it here, it really is a treat to see all these amazing houses!
I recently finished this house and I have decided to share here. It's probably one of my best builds. PICS: (sorry for the bad quality) Front https://imgur.com/k5UQYOb Back https://imgur.com/OTtDmQW First Floor https://imgur.com/Esex11e Second Floor https://imgur.com/tpEZDb8 ...and you can download it here. It should be…
If I could choose, I would do Legacies and Elders. My reasoning is mainly because it could be a generations sort of thing where we get an upgrade on all the life stages.
@Mindsimscreate I play on a short lifespan, though I did play pretty much all day yesterday, so that probably has something to do with it as well. :D I use it because I get tired of the life stages before the sims are ready to age up otherwise. Your whole family situation sounds complicated! I don't do divorces and affairs…
@Mindsimscreate You are so right! Having only one kid allowed me to work on Belllatrix's (Owen's mom) career, Owen's skills, and their personalities. Owen is now a teen and Bellatrix is now an elder but I am still having the most fun on TS4 that I've have in a while! I think Owen will try to have 2 kids, going along with…
@Mindsimscreate thanks! That sim I was talking about actually just had her daughter Owen. I have decided that Owen will probably be her only kid and oddly enough, I am actually okay with that!
I don't have what I consider a "magic" number, however almost all of my gameplay saves started out with a couple and ended with them having a ton of kids. (At least 4, usually 5 or more though) It takes a lot of self control for me to be happy with only a few kids. I don't think I've had more than 5 families with 3 or less…
I agree! I don't wan't a ton of things for babies. I know I voted for crawling but that was an accident, I wanted to vote "other". :D I would like a baby-sling option like you would, more furniture like better cribs instead of those awful bassinets, and maybe clothes and hair for babies. Other than that, I would rather…
I like to have a lot! Never none, 1 or 2, rarely 3 or 4, and often at least 5! It gets crazy at times but I love having kids. I think the practice really helps. When I first got the game, I was a terrible parent, but I kept at it and now I would consider myself a pro at dealing with 3+ toddlers/kids at a time. Every once…
Hello! I know this is from 6 years ago but I wanted to give some input in case anyone in the present comes looking for it. I used it to remove a social influence trait my sim got after being high level in the Jock group in college. I assume it will work for changing the college trait as well. Just follow the steps below:…
