I read something a while ago that said the most recent gameplay item you place or feature that gets added into the game is the thing your Sims gravitate towards the most. It's something to do with autonomy being a high level for whatever that activity is. I had an issue with Sims wanting to dance and sing all of the time…
The only family I have played with (and ever intend to use) is Michaelson. I gave Celeste parents, an uncle, and a cousin and the family of 8 live in the home together now. I also made some adjustments to Celeste in CAS regarding preferences and settings. I may even change her name back to the original one eventually.
I’ve probably made like 2 basements total and those were on small 20x15 lots. My Sims needed more space I didn’t want to make an upstairs, so I made a basement for the teenager instead. Bathroom, laundry, bedroom, kitchenette, hangout space… it was pretty nice.
And that’s exactly why I haven’t opened up EA App yet because I know it’ll auto update and who knows when they will fix this. They could make it so only NEWLY generated Sims are fixed. And any Sim already in your game is stuck with a cursed appearance. I do not want to deal with that stress of manually editing everyone.
San Myshuno is Japan Willow Creek is Louisiana Oasis Springs is either Arizona or Nevada Strangerville is either Area 51 or Roswell Sulani has to be Hawaii or somewhere in Polynesia We know San Seqouia is San Francisco Always thought Tartosa was Greece. If not somewhere close by Granite Falls is like Seattle or PNW in…
Same. Clutter does nothing but contribute to the item limit on a lot. Too much clutter aka too many items on a lot will make your game lag. And I play with walls down so I don’t need wall art, curtains, none of that. I’d rather place gameplay objects my Sims can use than random items they don’t even acknowledge.
I realized a lot of issues are fixed when you begin a new save. I remember they used to suggest you start a new save whenever you were having problems. I guess they realized people don't want to lose their progress so I don't see that suggestion anymore.
It’s like they’ve given up on additional quick gameplay completely and now just want to throw nonstop clutter and clothes at us for all the YouTube speed builders and CAS lovers to have fun with. Some of us actually prefer to play the game and aren’t geeked about outfits or random non functional decorations. So we are left…
I think they’re talking about the mattress and heart shaped bed frame behind the 2 Sims to the right. It definitely appears to be decoration and not functional. It’s not even put together like a proper bed.
I still think it’s wild they never introduced more empty worlds or a way for us to create or download more worlds. I’m sure it was by design to force us to buy packs to get new worlds but I still find it a shame.
My favorite feature of the pack. I did notice that since they released the patch after release of the game, my Sim hasn’t been asked by anyone to stay over anymore. Not sure what that’s about. Makes me curious if they toned it down or something. Getting a lot of “can I move in” messages but no more stay overs.
Truthfully, I haven’t taken my Sim to San Myshuno or controlled a Sim living there in years. Basketball goal is still my favorite item in the pack. I find the apartment restraints, neighbors, festivals, and lagginess annoying. I still think it’s a nice addition to the game but I don’t use any of the features lately.
I’ll share a few things I noticed. The last time I went into CAS to edit my Sim’s original 3 traits after they gained new traits through self discovery, my game crashed. After that I used the reward trait (I forget the name but it lets you reset your Sims traits). Well what that ended up doing was completely removing the…
I bought the pack knowing I was not going to hold a wedding. I still immediately elope all of my Sims. I just wanted a new world and it looks really nice, peaceful.
