RCT Classic seems to have it down. The Sims is literally a point and click game so it should be fine. The FreeSO guy was already in the progress of doing just that before EA silenced him so now the only hope lays with them. Knowing how much they love to milk the cash cow until it’s dry, there’s likely zero chance of this…
None of the explanations in this thread resolves anything other than stating the actual reason for things. I'm looking for any canon (you know, in-game) for why things are the way they are and not an actual reason. I also knew somebody was going to bring up the nuclear war explanation which really only seems to logically…
It would be better if when you go to make a new sim the name field by default had one box with a plus sign next to it so you can append more than one name to it. I'm tired of having to result to tricks like alt+255 in one of the slots so sims could have one name. Honestly, it might just be better to have the default…
Is the weather machine something you can gift to other sims? Because I have an idea where I have one gift it to another then to another then back to the original source. If this is doable that means I don't have to waste aspiration points.
This worked, but it only worked for that one lot. The other lots continue to have that bug and I don't want all of my sims to have a weather control machine.
I didn't set "Real Life" for this sim and I haven't been setting "Real LIfe" for most of the sims I've been playing recently. Yet the seasons length seems unaffected and remains the same regardless of if the aging is enabled or not.
What were the chances that I would see this thread right when I watched her die of old age when my sim managed to convince the bouncer to let her in even though she's below three-star levels? The death by old age animation is kind of sad. What should I do with the urn that was left behind? Give that this was an appropriate…
I only played one household on this game save. The only time I played the Goth household was when I entered their household long after the three died to where only Alexander was the only resident. No, my sim was not present when they did, and for even weirder results I got the another tombstone of a townie which my sim…
The only ghost sim I have in my game that is a part of my household is Candy. That's after I went over to their household to fetch their urn. The Goths, whose urns I have acquired are not in my household. So I went back to the former Behr residence to see if there was another urn for Yuki and there wasn't. Here's an image…
They do, I have the urns for the Goths and Candy Behr and I'm not controlling them. It's literally a hunt since I think the urns drop where the sims drop. Candy's urn was on the edges of her lot, but Yuki's isn't anywhere on the lot.
You could use some of my holidays for inspiration. Natural Selection Day Fiesta con los Fellecidos I mostly make mine original or parodies of real-world holidays like how Winterfest is Christmas.
This holiday is even better with the new first-person mode. This woman looks horrified. This celebrity looks mad about the man participating in this holiday. Gotta Simstagram this occasion naturally. We have a celebrity adorsement since even stars are coming out for this special day. Figures this character would do it.…
Yes, but I like making major holidays have all five tradition. This holiday is going to be fall's version of Winterfest and my returning of Leisure Day.
Nice, thank you, I wish there was a way to favorite individual posts on here, because this is very good to note. Wait, is this Day of the Dead or was it that person who did a Day of the Dead / Halloween combo? Because I found someone else did that. I might just make my own custom holiday inspired by it though since bootleg…
That's why it's clearly an optional feature like the vampire gameplay, fame gameplay (hopefully, fame in Sims 3 was annoying), and clubs. That way it's easy to ignore. Though religion technically is in the game right now through some of the holiday traditions, some of the holiday items corresponding to real-world ones…
Just because something is sensitive isn't a reason for it to be excluded. It just means you have to implement it carefully like what Maxis said they are doing when it comes to implementing physical disabilities. Excluding things just because they are sensitive topics would only lead to creations that lack any sort of depth…
That doesn't really answer my question as to why your post seems to think the idea presented in my initital post and what @AHolyToilet was alluding to are different from one another. Also, of course it'll be optional, what is the purpose of forcing limits in a sandbox game? 😉 How are they "extremely" rude? What exactly was…
