  • @AIRIS6962: Aww so sorry! :anguished: If comments span more than one page I usually quote them to keep track then delete the quotes. I know I replied, but I must have deleted the whole thing...oops  Anyway TY TY AIRIS! I'm glad you noticed the roof/foundation. I thought it was a neat idea :sunglasses:
  • @rosemow: Thanks rose! I'm glad you like it  @petalbot: LOL no love for the cotton candy trees aye? they do look delicious though :yum: Don't worry I probably won't use them since they take up too much room. @follyfoot: Thanks follyfoot! • Wow you've been busy building like it's nobody's business :astonished: All three of your latest builds are really lovely, If I'd have to pick a favorite it would have to be the cottage with its beautiful landscaping and striking contrast in decor with the style of the architecture. Great work!
  • Really nice modern Yanti! I like all the exterior spaces especially and that stunning pool
  • Wonderful showcase of builds MDianaSanders! I'm particularly fond of you victorian manor and the newcrest east neighborhood lots!
  • Wow European City Center 02 is a fantastic build! So many details it just makes me want to jump into the game and explore. Thanks for sharing
  • Very nice starter RyeChris! I like the pond with the stepping stones and how you used those windows to imitate shoji screens  I'm getting a picture of a cat hanging from a bed when I try to look at your other pics (photobucket maintenance) so I'll have to check those later. Otherwise great job!

It has more than 30 rooms spanning 4 floors + a basement. The lot was initially based on the Catherine Palace in Russia, though it got a mind of its own after a while. Now it's…

  • Awesome job on your spooky manor! Love the imposing design of the house and the spooky atmosphere :scream: I don't know what it is about 2nd empire architecture that makes such good creepy haunted houses, but I'd def be afraid to spend a night in your manor :open_mouth: Great work!
  • If you undo the roundedness of the roofing in the first one until it's completely straight you'll have what you're aiming for I think.
  • You're going about it the right way using the 2 half gable roof pieces and the one full gable piece placed on the floor above to get the traditional barn roof aka gambrel roof. Here's an example of the roof shape shown in your 4th pic: Nothing more too it other than changing the heights and widths of the 1/2 gables and…

  • @Manssom, @rosemow, @Nejioranaid, @yanti68: Thanks for the feedback! I agree with you, Manssom that the color was a bit off so I went ahead and changed it up a bit to something in between the original and ver. 2. The house now has white walls instead of the stone and a gold dome  I also have a few new…
  • I think columns need flooring below them so you won't be able to place them on the 2nd floor like in your pic. You can however turn on the move objects on cheat and you should be able to place them then.
