I usually place a graveyard on a generic lot type and I only invite the closest family members to travel to that lot. But I you want to plan an event I think it's best to choose a park lot. Although you probably don't want other sims to show up there.
The Sims 4 is the first Sims game I heard about. I was watching YouTube and I stumbled across a Sims 4 let's play. Best thing that ever happened to me! :)
I hate the fact that grandchildren can't even introduce themselves to famous grandparents. It's like the grandparent is so famous that they don't want to know their grandchild? I can't believe the Sims team didn't made a fix for this yet.
All my sims hate and that's why I hate it too! I don't really hate it in real life but I don't like it either. I'll have to admit that it is a nice gesture to give the new neighbours fruitcake.
My favorite world is Sulani. I absolutely love the clear ocean with fish swimming around! This world really gives me vacation vibes and it's nice to ride around on boats.
Earning a gold medal for the Outdoor Retreat Weenie Roast event is very hard too. Roasting marshmallows is a long interaction and you have to do it twice with 4 sims I think. I wish it wasn't that hard because you can't really enjoy the party anymore. My favourite event is the house party. It's funny to see the guests'…
Before this lot trait came out, I did an off-the-grid challenge myself. My sim mostly did gardening and went to an off-the-grid bar to socialize. Maybe you can start a collection or complete an aspiration? Swimming in the ocean and even becoming a mermaid could be fun. But to be honest, there aren't many activities in…
I use CC clothing and hair, but no building items. They usually don't look that good in-game. When I come across a interesting mod, I sometimes download it but I don't use mods very often.
I like playing the Big Sister/brother challenge. It's fun to start with a small house and working your way op to a bigger one. The Supersim challenge I like as well. It's a little hard when you start having a family, because you need to take care of the kids and meanwhile completing all skills and aspirations. Some players…
Maybe you could set a goal for yourself and try to accomplish something you've never done before with every generation. Like getting your sims to level 10 in their career. That way you might want to keep playing, but if you're more of a storyteller it may not interest you though. Sometimes when I start a new generation, I…
5) You could try out the in-game memory system. Have you ever used it before? I did once but I don't really get it. I wish there was like a memory book or something because I love storytelling in The Sims.
I think 'Newcrest Seasons Park' is really cool. It has an ice rink, a pool and a hot tub. It really is for all seasons! I like the fairy lights and the food stalls too.
Love the idea of this thread! I think it's hard to raise toddlers in TS4, I usually make one parent stay-at-home because I want my toddlers to build up skills and that's not possible when they are in daycare. Also, when they have higher skills, toddlers cry less and are less annoying. Kids don't take much care but the…
I'm doing the SuperSim challenge atm. It's a fun way to explore the game actually. Normally I wouldn't make my sim complete aspirations and skills. It's overall a really cool challenge!
You could make 2 sisters/brothers who are a teen and a child(basically the Big Sister/Brother challenge). Or make different households and start some drama in them. Or maybe your sim was very rich but then lost all of his/her money and is trying to build up his life again. These are just a few things that came to my head.
