Just revamped this lot, reused the landscaping and created a new house. I focused on a dark wood feel and tried to keep it very "homely". you can see the full range of screenshots and a download link here. I have posted my favourite screenies below to entice your palette.

The major issue of this thread seems to be the unclear way of creating families after already having a save game - and not overwriting the game. The autosave and problems with it not saving at all is an issue, though the autosave has also saved my sister's game already because the program decided it didn't want to save…

How many games have you played? There are a multitude where the autosave and quick save are the primary ways to load and play the game. This comes down to poor coding, simple as that.

Loving this legacy story! Your writing style is great, and I haven't at all been refreshing in hopes for your next updates a bit too often :p . Regarding the hole "rules" of it, as long as you keep close to it and make a story to remember - that's all that matters I think. :)

That should be fine, just need to have the non-current households progress in work, relationships, and pregnancies/adoption. The problem I imagine would be the equalising of the relationships and children limits. All in due time :).

I'm not too sure, though theoretically it doesn't seem too hard to do (as universal aging is a feature). Reading how it was done in TS3, TS4 implementation would be different though similar. HWMonitor can let you know the temperatures the system is reading: www.cpuid.com/softwares/hwmonitor.html If you have a local tech savvy friend I'd ask them about the second screen, as you need to have a laptop with the ports to support it, otherwise with minimising you can view the information CPUID HWMonitor gives you.
