  • The Renegades had a party at the roof of the police station: Donny was so nice to volunteer to wear the Emily shirt for me after Max refused to. back row Morgan Fyres, Wolfgang Munch, Carlos Mendoza, Ulrike Faust front row Yuki Behr, Brandon Colch, Max Villareal I thought the natural fit for this pack would be Grunge…
  • The best swatches are always hidden, never shown in the promo material. Like, how adorable is this: Unfortunately the sim I discovered it on wouldn't want to be caught dead wearing this. (I'll show what they picked instead later, when I'm done with the full household.) Here's another instant fav:
  • Death in my game is extremely rare and when it happens, it always leaves a major impression for a long time. That's why I don't accept random death, I feel it cheapens the emotional impact. Sim falls off a steep wall and dies? Sure, sim goes to hospital and wears bandages afterwards. But they don't die. With all my…
  • Good idea, I'll keep that in mind for a public venue. Maybe a cinema upstairs so that visitors have something to do and the VR experience gateway downstairs. Technically they're doing exactly that, going there and having breakfast, only with added steps B) It adds flavour to the setting (near future) and emphasizes Susan's…
  • I'd love to purchase items individually with the option to bundle them for a discount. For example picking only the male adult hat from a set of matched clothing for all ages. (I think that was how the Sims 3 store worked?) For such tiny transactions simpoints would be better than direcly buying with money. In general dlc…
  • I read this comment before the actual post, and had no idea what the spoiler was hiding. <3 <3 <3
  • I got the button today, it glowed, then went silent after I clicked the offer. Turned out it was Growing Together, a pack I'm very conflicted about. Seeing the offer won't help me decide. At this point I'd need to try my hand at a demo.
  • Laaaaaate answer: ΜØŦĦ€Ř considered possessing non-sapients a waste of bandwidth, so the horses are safe. Inhaling the stuff must still be uncomforable, so, yes, poor horses :(
  • New idea out of the blue: If Erwin spent his teen years tracking conspiracies and trying to prove aliens are real, he should be well versed in Photography, Media Production, Writing and Research/Debate. That could lead to an artistic career like photographer or even one where he has to be convincing (law, politics). I…
  • So, as promised my Erwin offspring. He makes the cutest toddlers and children, adults not so much. First is Alwin, his mother is Alice Martin. This pairing got suggested in the Strangerville promo material, so as close to canon as can get. I always kept Alwin a bit overweight, because he got born with the pear shape body…
  • I) I picture him on the lower end of the scale, either in or fresh out of college. 18-21. He's shown in preview pictures for Discover University with the DU premades, so if you have headcanon ages for Cameron Fletcher and Julia Wright, Erwin would slot right in there. II) Iirc his default vest is the one with the…
  • I know this is past the migration date, but I still want to share that I played my first lightsaber tournament. I sorted my sims into two leagues, force sensitives (spellcasters) and non-force sensitives (regular sims), to prevent a mundane with high fitness skill to beat Kylo Ren.
  • Thank you for the mention @EA_Solaire ! I have a baby name book on my desk just for my sims, so I was condident to always be prepared, but then the little berry rolled in and proved me wrong. It's B3-RY now (blackberry) - cutesy name for menacing looking droid.
  • I'd like to know this myself. I have Wants & Fears disabled, and never had any problem with that. But recently one of my sims had many unsuccesful interactions with his problem horse and got a warning that if this persisted, he'd manifest a fear of horses. (The warning took the form of both a popup and a tense moodlet). So…
  • Since my main save started out as a giant Detroit: Become Human fanfic, I use real world regions (Detroit, naturally) with a few fictional places added for flavour. In the rare case I cannot fit a save into my Detroitverse, I'm partial towards using "SimNation" or "Simslandia", depending on whether I imagine my world more…
  • Looks like I need more droids to make use of all the suggestions. (But then I always forget my sims have them.)
  • Thank you everyone for your suggestions! I KNEW there'd be something better than my ideas out there and I found it! @Simmingal and @FatTribble23 , I fell in love with your berry suggestions. B3-RY it'll be.
  • This is good stuff and very well organized :) About the Batuu mission npcs (scientist, scoundrel contact, contraband owner etc.), they all seem to be randomized in appareance and name, except for one: Corra Arrel (First Order defector) always seems to have the same appearence and name, but randomized traits (mine has…
  • Thank you for the mention @EA_Solaire. And good news for everyone's sims: "My sims don't suffer at all" is still leading the poll :)
  • Lunar Resistance, a tier 4 werewolf power, should do that. Alternately you could delete the rampaging moodlet (with UI cheats or MCCCs cheat module) and then make the sim happy via shift-clicking the mailbox (this will deplete the fury meter as a safeguard).
  • I think the moment I'd feel that I, as the player, were torturing someone, I'd lose my taste for drama, too. Thing is, I can be quite detached. In my perception it's sims causing drama, strife and suffering for other sims, not myself. One moment it's "No, I could never feed a sim to a cowplant", but then the next moment…
  • Ah, that would explain it. I was wondering why I had the crashes, but not the distortion. Looks I did have that bug, just didn't notice.
  • Would the Marketable reward trait help?
  • I'd say that counts as "all sims suffer equality", because even though in practise some will suffer more/less than others, you decided to be impartial in this matter.
  • Good point! I think a good counter would be how often I, as the player notice the suffering, either as "Aw, poor Jacques" or "Hehe, Jacques will so not like this". That would make two instances of consciously noted suffering, regardless of quality. (That sounded soooo bad :s ) There's also the difference between actual…
  • I'd be extremely sad and annoyed if this pack flopped because of something totally unrelated to it's theme and contents. It's on par with Paranormal in content and deserves better.
  • I'm probably going to steal these exact words and put them into my jeweler sim's mouth during a sales pitch ;) When I played yesterday, I picked effects based on my sims's characters, not efficiency. The Hot-headed one ordered the effect that shortens the duration of anger, and he is currently making a better artifacts…
  • *taps microphone* And this is what I'd announce Day 1 bugs with... if there were any, buhahaha! *exits stage* (Had a mod conflict, but was able to solve it. Also had the no social menu bug of the pre-patch. But so far nothing wrong with the pack itself)
  • @Sara1010P In my case it was TOOL. I had neglected an update because the description said it fixed something regarding For Rent, what I don't own.
  • Just mod conflicts (no skill gain from books after level 1, can only "design random jewelry" even at a cheated skill level 10, cannot cut crystals or design jewelry). I did a 50:50 yesterday already for a different issue, and now again So tired :(
