@ApparentlyAwesome Pinup Outfit fixes! Also figured these would be easy and was right. Simply put, they forgot to replace the textures for the mesh itself in TSR Workshop, so aspects of the EA dress they cloned to make it were showing through. This also means they didn't have their own normal map (A mapping texture used to…
@ApparentlyAwesome Okay, figured the toddler ones would be easiest so I tackled those first. Looks like the creator accidentally merged some vertices they didn't intend to. I patched the hole, but this has caused some slight texture stretching since I had to merge some vertices in the area. It's only really…
@Deshong04 You and me both with the new super duper ray tracing mode. I have the RTX 2060, which is one of the first RTX cards. Normal ray tracing has to cap my fps at 30, so I don't play around with it anyway. IMO games without ray tracing are extremely pretty nowadays anyway. And I can't say I care enough about the…
@ApparentlyAwesome Lorrrd ima start chargin' ya'll. Hahaha I kid, I kid. I'll start taking a look at these. Might take me a bit to chunk through all of it, but I'll do my best. :3 Unfortunately, I do not know how to fix hairs. They are just a different beast that I haven't brought myself to learn. But the…
@FrancesWery Thank you. I feel better every day and hopefully will feel 100% soon. So, admittedly, I am not very knowledgeable about build/buy objects and, therefore, I'm not sure why these specific windows wouldn't be showing up. These windows appear perfectly fine in TSR Workshop, so I'm afraid I'm not…
Emma Hatch is the best friend of every sim I've ever played in Sunset Valley. She's precious. I know EA's styling can pretty much make every sim look awful, but Emma always looked so sweet to me. :3
@emorrill Well the only issue that seemed large in the MurfeeL dress ended up being the clipping that occurs in the chest area at the highest weight slider value. I fixed that, so I guess it's good now. There is some clipping in the armpit area that is somewhat noticeable, but this is really only an issue at the…
Okay, @emorrill I think I got the Kitt fantasy dress to look as good as I can. There are definitely some parts that aren't perfect, but they're pretty small issues in comparison to what the dress was before. DL: https://www.dropbox.com/s/nfazydf2edmpocx/Kitt_FantasyDress_Edit.package?dl=0 The MurfeeL dress…
Assuming you're talking about DeviceConfig, editing the number there won't have an effect because that top portion with CPU rating is just reporting back what it sees in GraphicsRules. So the numbers that need to be changed will be in GraphicsRules. Go to where you installed The Sims 3, and navigate to The Sims 3>Game>Bin.…
@emorrill Okey dokey, started working on the Kitt Fantasy Gown first. This entire dress strikes me as the creator's first attempt using a program like Marvelous Designer to achieve natural cloth folds. It seems that this ended in the dress being far too high poly for TS3 and them needed to severely decimate it to get it to…
@emorrill I know I said it might take a bit, but I decided it's probably best if I keep my brain occupied, so decided to look at the dress tonight. Afraid there wasn't much I could do with this. I did keep the files just in case, but this is a tricky one. lol I'll go through everything and what I tried, letting you know…
@GraceyManor Armor from here: https://modthesims.info/d/488138/medieval-male-armor-cas-for-young-adults-amp-adults-ye-olde-kingdom-of-pudding.html I can't find a saddle blanket that is exactly the one pictured, but I found this one that is very similar:…
@emorrill Phew that is a tough one. lol I'll do my best. I will apologize in advance as this might take me a lot longer than previous requests. I'll message you about that. But, yeah, just wanted to give a heads up in the thread so others wanting my help know I'm reliable. lol Does that make sense? Probably not. Anyway,…
@emorrill So it ends up not looking quite as graceful, simply because having to make the skirt larger partly hurts the illusion that it's connected to the top part and all one piece, if that makes sense. I tried not to make it too much bigger because of that, so it still clips a tiny bit on the highest end of the weight…
@ZeeGee Thanks for the bump. It's all subjective. And, as I said, there is CC that was good from a longer time back. Mostly I think the quality jump happened with clothing and shoes. Less "painted on" stuff and more detailed garments. But that isn't what everyone prefers, so, again, it's all subjective. And, to be…
@KevinL5275 I saw that in my search, but looks to me like it's the IP festival grounds that are in the library already. Could be wrong, though. Hopefully they're better!
@PleaseMisterPostman While they do not have a specific Gilded Age period or anything (Victorian might be the closest), I think you could probably find a few pieces on this blog that are at least close enough to 1870s, Little House on the Prairie-esque clothing: https://joojconverts.tumblr.com/downloads
@ashcrash19 There is no such mod for The Sims 3 that I'm aware of. However, I think, based on your comment history, that you're lost and are looking for a Sims 4 mod. I was able to find this, which is a cowplant tweaking mod in general, that gives instructions on how to make yours immortal. Now whether it works or…
In spite of what the wiki says, I've seen a few people who claim to have had the trait passed down to offspring. If their testimonies are true, it seems the chance is 50%. It is worth noting, I've also seen people suggest there is a limit of 2 hidden traits per sim, but I can't verify that information.
@emorrill Okay so I actually used a dress in that link I sent as the reference mesh in mesh toolkit and that has managed to mitigate the spikey look of the chest substantially. At least, it appears so in TSR Workshop. I haven't tested in-game. I suspect this was a morph issue, as at 0 on the sliders it looked smooth and…
@emorrill So I'm trying to figure this thing out, but it's kinda defeating me a bit. In the meantime, might I leave you with this helpful link to TSM to TS3 conversions: https://xto3conversionsfinds.tumblr.com/tagged/mto3clothing
Decided to throw a party for Spooky Day. Had Živilė dress as Jeanette Voerman from Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines because Bridgeport reminds me of VTMB. Though I do remove occults from my game, so there aren't actual vampires in town anymore, I thought it be a cute homage to how Bridgeport is supposed to be, ya know?…
@Silverofdreams30 Thanks  @emorrill Shhhh I was trying not to be so forward. Upon further inspection, it seems the creator did more to the bosom to create such an effect. I'm taking notes! More screenies: Promise, Vlad? :3 Živilė never learned how to drink :( Another fun prompt from Randomizer Mod:…
@emorrill Praaven is lovely, but I don't think I could commit to a themed save. Where is that first dress the lady sim is wearing from, btw? Looks like it was made on the medieval body! I like how it fits. :3 @Silverofdreams30 It probably already happened at this point, so hope your interview went well! <3…
